Own the strategy, roadmap, packaging, pricing, and growth path for Supabase Spark projects, a backend project type designed for agent-built software. Define the MVP-to-production journey, partner with engineering, growth, finance, and platform customers, and use instrumentation, experimentation, and data analysis to guide product decisions. The role is fully remote and emphasizes rapid iteration, developer tools, infrastructure, and agent-driven development.

Build and operate production backend services supporting Supabase AI products, including the MCP server. Responsibilities include service architecture, deployments, scaling, authentication and authorization, observability, reliability targets, on-call incident response, rate limiting, capacity management, and API evolution. The role requires strong TypeScript or Go skills, production backend experience, distributed-systems debugging, and collaboration with Platform and SRE teams in a fully remote environment.

Build and operate Supabase’s multi-tenant, multi-region Kubernetes container platform. Responsibilities include platform automation, controllers, internal tooling, CI/CD and rollout primitives, security automation, observability, SLOs, error budgets, incident response, operational readiness reviews, resilience design, and infrastructure cost optimization. The role participates in on-call rotations and guides product teams toward reliable operational practices.
