Owns capital and commercial transactions for renewable and gas-powered energy campuses, including project equity and debt raises, PPAs, joint ventures, M&A, land acquisition, and SPV formation. Builds and defends financial models, leads investor and lender processes, negotiates counterparties and counsel, and supports corporate fundraising. The role requires building the corporate development function while executing complex energy infrastructure transactions from origination through close.

Lead end-to-end financing execution for renewable energy and storage projects, including debt, tax equity, ITC transfers, and equipment financing. Build and audit complex project finance models, negotiate term sheets, manage counsel and advisors, structure offtake and credit support arrangements, and oversee documentation through close. Develop capital structures across HoldCo, OpCo, and project SPVs, prepare investor and lender materials, and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders.

Own TAR’s federal government relations strategy across energy, tax, AI infrastructure, permitting, trade, and data center policy. Build congressional and Administration relationships, influence legislation and regulations, manage lobbyists and trade associations, coordinate political visibility and testimony, ensure lobbying compliance, and align federal advocacy with state, local, development, and communications teams.

Lead end-to-end project finance for multi-GW off-grid renewable power projects: structure capital stacks, monetize tax credits, build and defend project finance models, manage diligence and lender/investor processes, ensure financeability of commercial and supply agreements, oversee post-close finance operations, and scale the project finance team.

Produce build-ready electrical designs for islanded behind-the-meter microgrids: single-line and three-line diagrams, wiring schedules, equipment sizing (conductors, OCPD, disconnects, switchgear) across MV/LV/DC, basis-of-design for the Engineer of Record, DC collection layouts, and maintain drawing sets through IFC for procurement and field execution.

Open, high-agency role at a company building off-grid, renewable-powered data center infrastructure. Candidates should be self-directed, driven, and intellectually curious. Responsibilities are flexible—successful applicants will define their role and contribute to hardware, software, operations, or construction to help deploy large-scale renewable power assets.

Manage end-to-end procurement activities: create and modify POs, draft and redline contracts from templates, resolve invoicing and PO mismatches with vendors, enter and maintain procurement data, assist implementation of P2P and contract management systems, run reports, and proofread procurement documents.

Work directly with founders to own unstructured, high-impact problems end-to-end: build financial models, run acquisitions, evaluate generation and monetization options, coordinate cross-functional teams, and stand up new workstreams until they have permanent owners.

Own end-to-end sourcing categories: develop short- and long-term strategies, run RFx and negotiations, manage vendor qualification and contracts, support engineering/construction procurements, improve processes and implement P2P/contract software, and mentor procurement specialists.

Own cost controls, forecasting, and reporting for utility-scale solar and storage campuses. Administer EPC and supplier contracts, track commitments and invoices, maintain project controls systems, build budgets and baselines, support project financing and lender reporting, and surface cost risks for resolution with procurement and construction teams.

Work directly with founders to drive multi-GW energy projects end-to-end: deliver construction and procurement milestones, lead special projects, support large-scale project and equity financing, hire across levels, and resolve urgent operational issues on-site.

Lead design and validation of islanded power controls and supervisory EMS for off-grid solar+storage data center campuses. Define control architecture, vendor specifications, EMT studies, real-time HIL validation, FAT/SAT protocols, and lead commissioning through energization while building the in-house EMS and controls team.

Manage day-to-day operations of the San Francisco robotics workshop: tools, equipment, contractors, purchasing, inbound/outbound logistics, inventory, shop safety, and operational projects to keep engineers unblocked.

Own the finance function: manage AP/AR, monthly close, project cost accounting, cash and banking, fraud controls, ERP/tool selection and implementation, tax and audit support, and build the accounting team and processes to scale multi-GW projects.

Work directly with founders to solve ambiguous, high-impact problems end-to-end: drive GW-scale project delivery, stand up new functions, remove engineering blockers, support financing workstreams, hire across levels, and handle on-site operational troubleshooting including travel to West Texas.

Lead TAR's legal function with primary focus on drafting and negotiating EPC, OEM, MSA, PPA, and customer agreements. Build contract templates and systems, manage outside counsel, handle land/site agreements, support project finance, M&A, disputes, insurance, patents, and clean energy policy issues. Work directly with founders and cross-functional leads to scale a GW-level project pipeline.

Design, configure, and commission OT control systems and SCADA for islanded microgrids. Specify hardened OT networks, integrate multi-vendor equipment and protocols, validate real-time telemetry and redundancy, lead commissioning and HIL testing, and own as-built baselines and ongoing operations.

Lead owner-side technical execution of off-grid microgrid deployments from design through procurement, construction, commissioning, and commercial operation. Coordinate EOR/EPC/OEM, enforce scope/schedule/quality, support equipment selection, run commissioning sequences (BESS-first grid-forming), troubleshoot field issues, and maintain design basis and lessons-learned.

Lead control architecture and power-electronics integration for islanded, inverter-dominant microgrids. Specify and validate grid-forming inverter and BESS PCS behavior, run islanded power-system studies, define MGC/EMS functional boundaries, drive OEM engagement, and author commissioning and validation test plans to ensure stable, continuous IT load operation without utility support.
