Teams at The City of Austin

Designs, installs, troubleshoots, inspects, repairs, and operates irrigation systems for Austin Parks and Recreation. Develops system specifications, watering schedules, conservation programs, diagrams, and reports; monitors water quality and regulatory compliance; tests backflow devices; obtains permits; and provides technical guidance to staff, vendors, and volunteers. The role may assign and train others, operate maintenance equipment, work outdoors in varied conditions, and travel between multiple locations.
