The role is primarily remote and field-based, with client meetings and travel as needed.

Provides legal underwriting support and authorization for real estate title insurance commitments and policies in Texas. Advises company personnel, agents, brokers, and customers on title insurance and settlement services, interprets federal and state regulations, develops underwriting guidance, supports regional initiatives, analyzes underwriter performance, and builds business relationships. The role requires a law degree, Texas bar admission or admission in a state within the region, strong judgment, communication, and organizational skills.

Supervises a title production team providing title and escrow services. Ensures service-level agreements, quality standards, productivity metrics, and company procedures are met; audits files, resolves complex title and escrow issues, manages risk and claims concerns, supports customer relations, and provides coaching and training. The role also implements corporate initiatives, promotes employee engagement, and maintains expertise across team functions.
