Prepare 150–200 business and individual tax returns annually, emphasizing business entities and 1040s. Support client transitions, maintain accuracy and efficiency during seasonal deadlines, stay current with tax law, and gradually mentor team members while progressing toward a Manager role. The position requires public accounting tax experience, strong business return preparation skills, and self-directed performance in a high-volume environment.

The Tax Manager will lead the tax function at a growing investment advisory firm, managing client relationships and developing tax services from the ground up.

Lead client acquisition and manage onboarding; own relationships for individual and business clients; prepare and review complex tax returns including fiduciary returns; drive proactive tax planning and research complex tax issues; manage workflow across engagements and supervise and develop a small team while applying data analytics to client situations.
