Oversee daily production-floor operations, supervising operators and material handlers while coordinating output, shipping, safety, quality, and maintenance needs. Assign work, maintain production records, address obstacles, support scheduling, train employees, and drive continuous improvement in productivity, inventory accuracy, and efficiency. The role works with supervisors and cross-functional teams to meet production targets and maintain a safe, high-performance manufacturing environment.

Manages customer relationships and the inside sales process for manufactured metal products. Responsibilities include preparing quotations, entering and reviewing orders, tracking inventory, calculating costs and margins, meeting sales targets, and coordinating with production, scheduling, logistics, and outside sales to ensure timely fulfillment. The role also resolves service issues, supports contracts, maintains sales data, and may travel occasionally to trade shows or customer locations.
