Position Summary
Nava is seeking a Consultant Product Marketing Manager for our emerging solutions that help accelerate Nava delivery teams in achieving client outcomes.
In this position, you will develop the overall go-to-market strategy, create positioning and messaging, and ensure teams are aligned for successful lead conversion in the government context.

What you'll do
- Define target audiences, customer journeys, and optimize the sales funnel from awareness to acquisition
- Drive positioning and messaging that is targeted based on customer-vetted value proposition to support both product development and marketing campaigns
- Refine the GTM strategy, product/ services, and collateral based on feedback coming from external market research and input
- Work across product and business development teams, pushing them to achieve sales and marketing milestones, often working backwards from demo days, new feature launches or deadlines related to policy updates
- Maintain and prioritize a collateral backlog with vetted user stories and value propositions
- Ensure all functions are coordinated and working in harmony toward common sales and marketing goals
- Develop subject matter expertise on the government tech stack and procurement
- Represent Nava's solutions via demos, market research calls, user research calls, and prospective client calls
- Work with product managers and ensure product documentation, demos, and collateral are discoverable and compelling
- Bridge the product team, sales, and marketing, and ensure effective sales enablement. Stay close to the business development pipeline.
- Position for strength against competition with differentiation in mind
Required skills
- 8+ years in Product Marketing or related fields
- Experience standing up product marketing processes from scratch
- Proven ability to operate in and navigate ambiguity
- Experience with customer-facing market research
- Experience developing product marketing messaging, assets, and other collateral
- Experience with market research and go-to-market experience
- History of building strong relationships with peers and working effectively across functions
- Entrepreneurial spirit and startup experience
Desired skills
- Experience with marketing and positioning open source technology
- Experience with client services and/or government consulting
- Experience with business development within government contractors
