Start your career by joining a thriving, successful team enabling innovation within the financial services industry. AFS is seeking interns to join our various team within our technology and product divisions. As a member of this team, you'll have a large impact on the firm by adding your relevant experience to our organization and employees in a rapidly growing environment. You’ll also learn about change management, performance management, and organizational development. Additionally, our diverse business streams afford you the unique opportunity to grow across a variety of verticals, engaging you in unique challenges, projects, and technologies.

To be considered, you must be able to work 40 hours per week during our summer program in one of our office locations. Opportunities are available within the following groups:

Business Operations and Commercial Divisions

• Software Engineering Intern (10): This role will work alongside senior software engineers to design and develop scalable applications, gaining hands-on experience with coding and agile practices.

• Product Intern (4): This role will work alongside senior product managers to help shape strategies, conduct market analysis, and help launch and refine current and new products/solutions.

• Technology PMO Intern (2): This role will assist technology project/program management teams in coordinating project timelines, optimizing workflows, and contributing to reporting and process improvements.

The skills you’ll need to succeed:

• Be currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor's degree program; junior or senior standing preferred

• Excellent problem-solving skills with high attention to detail

• Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft 365

• Interest in Fintech

Preferred skills:

• Relevant work experience or work experience in a professional environment (e.g. internships, summer positions, school jobs, etc)

• Strong analytical skills

• Desire to take ownership of projects and ideas

• Ability to work independently as well as in team environment

• Attention to detail and a high degree of initiative and adaptability

Salary Range

The annual base salary range for this position is noted above. Exact compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and office location.
