Our channel has over 17 million subscribers, tens of millions of views per episode and is still growing strong. Our studio is filled with incredibly talented and passionate artists that are determined to change the way animation is produced and treated in the industry. Glitch Productions is seeking an experienced Post Production Manager to lead the post pipeline for our upcoming 2D series. In this role, you’ll oversee editorial, compositing, sound, colour, localization and final delivery, ensuring each stage meets schedule, technical requirements, and creative expectations. You’ll partner closely with the showrunner, directors, producers, and departmental leads while guiding post coordinators to keep workflows running smoothly. This position plays a key role in maintaining the show’s visual and audio quality, streamlining communication, and delivering polished episodes on time.

Your duties will include:

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, lead and inspire the post production team to finalize, QC and render out animated shows
  • Coordinate with the showrunner, directors, producers, and animation leads to lock cuts, track revisions, and manage version control.
Build and maintain realistic post schedules, anticipate bottlenecks, and reallocate resources when needed.
  • Manage outsource vendors (audio, online, localization) and ensure assets are delivered to spec.
  • Own the delivery process: final exports, QC checks, mastering, broadcast/streaming compliance, and archival.
  • Maintain documentation: shot tracking, delivery logs, naming conventions, and workflow standards.
  • Ensure the team adheres to technical specs and keep communication tight across editorial, compositing, and production.

A successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in post production with 2D animation
  • Strong understanding of compositing, editing, and sound workflows (e.g., Adobe Suite, Toon Boom, Premiere, DaVinci, Avid).
  • Proven ability to manage schedules, resources, and cross-department communication.
  • Familiarity with QC processes, localization, mastering formats, and broadcast/streaming delivery specs.
  • Experience working with asset/shot tracking tools (ShotGrid, FTrack, custom studio tools).
  • Understanding of colour management, codecs, file formats, and version control.
  • Background in production management or post coordination is often expected.

Bonus Skills:

  • Sharp organisational skills and the ability to anticipate issues early.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • A calm, solution-focused approach under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills that keep directors, editors, and compositors aligned.
  • Confidence juggling multiple episodes or sequences simultaneously.
High attention to detail—naming, file hygiene, QC, delivery accuracy.
  • A collaborative mindset and respect for both creative and technical teams.
  • Flexibility to adapt workflows as the project or pipeline evolves.
  • An understanding or experience with the arts, animation, gaming, and/or ‘internet nerd’ culture.

What we offer:

  • A competitive starting salary with reviews every 6 months.
  • A flexible work arrangement and schedule, with options for work from home and flexi-hours.
  • A casual and fun office environment where individual input is valued.
  • Regular work functions and free entry to conventions and events.
  • Close to public transport in the heart of Parramatta CBD.
  • Paid for gym memberships.
  • Regular company breakfasts/lunches.
  • A diverse team that values independent input and career development.
