Position Summary
Responsible for assisting high net worth account managers of the Personal Lines Department in providing excellent customer service to clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for checking policies for accuracy and rates, invoicing and assisting account managers. Learn how to make sure all correspondence is properly entered into the EPIC system.
- Cancellations and reinstatements process per the agency workflow. Obtain necessary information off the carrier website, follow-up on payments and send appropriate correspondence to the customer.
- Process and invoice the final cancellations.
- Exposure to and process endorsements and non-download renewals per the agency workflow.
- Obtain information/documentation from the carrier, processing, invoicing, and sending appropriate correspondence to the customer.
- Processing of daily download reports, per the agency workflow.
- Handling client billing questions and documenting all correspondence per the agency workflow.
- Learning the different coverages within the Personal Lines Department, specifically in the high-net-worth segment. Learning the difference between standard carriers and surplus lines.
- Effectively and accurately document activities and correspondence within the EPIC system per the agency workflow.
- Exposure to the claims process and how it relates to customers and carriers within the Personal Lines Department. Processing on-line inquiries.
- Learning how to work efficiently and effectively to help keep backlog to a minimum.
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Having or acquiring state licensing once hired (we can get you licensed)
- Passion and dedication for continued learning
- A foundational understanding of Microsoft Office; comfortable with modern technology
