About the role

We have and exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Director to join the group working on publications and medical affairs accounts. This role would suit a candidate who enjoys being a strategic leader, multi-tasking, and is motivated to drive and develop the business.


Here's what you'll be doing:

As Account Director you will be responsible for supervising a range of communications projects. Using your project management / leadership skills and scientific expertise you will deliver a range of scientific services to clients, including scientific and strategic consultation, publications planning for new and existing drug therapies, satellite symposia, conferences and medical education projects in both web and multimedia formats. You will research information from a variety of sources in order to provide expertise in therapy area(s) and product(s) and as a primary client liaison point, you will be responsible for maintaining excellent relations with clients, meeting and surpassing client needs and guaranteeing high business standards. You may also have line management responsibility.


About you:

To succeed, you must have a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in life sciences (advanced degree, preferred). You will also have a wealth of experience in a medical communications agency or pharmaceutical marketing environment working on publications and medical affairs projects. In addition, a proven track record of exceptional staff, project and client management experience is required. To be successful you would needed to have developed strategic communication plans and programs in a previous role. You should have good financial understanding and have had experience with budgeting. You will also be able to work well within a team and demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. This range may differ based on your experience and skill set, geographic location, and cost of living considerations. We consider compensation more than just a base salary – that’s why we also offer an exceptional range of flexible benefits, personal support and tailored learning and development opportunities all designed to help you realize your full potential both in life and at work.
Compensation
$110,000$137,000 USD
