Looma Background

Looma is an in-store digital media platform focused on storytelling, education, and recommendations. Their network of in-store screens helps retailers better modernize and monetize their stores, while enabling brands to tell their story directly at the point of decision. All content that airs on Looma’s network is produced or edited by Relay™, their global network of independent filmmakers, editors, and other creators who specialize in point-of-decision content.

Position Summary

The Account Executive role blends sales, strategy, analysis, and design to optimize programs that both delight shoppers and deliver business value to brands and retailers.

As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for building and managing a book of business with alcohol brands, selling both the media buy and content production to brands. You will need to build top-of-the-funnel prospects and then lead prospects through the sales pipeline to deal close. Throughout the sales process, you will educate brands and their agencies about their need for optimized point-of-decision content and quickly cultivate relationships of trust and respect with brand marketing executives. For specific campaigns, you will help design and pitch content strategies to develop beautiful, impactful content that aligns with both Looma’s human-centric approach and our brands’ marketing objectives. Ultimately, your efforts will enable Looma to become these brands’ dominant provider of in-store digital media over the coming years.

We are strongly prioritizing candidates with direct alcohol client and agency relationships, with experience building and managing an advertising book of business.

This role reports directly to Looma’s GM of AlcBev.

The responsibilities for this role can be split into two primary categories:

  1. Direct Sales | 80%

Looma will provide a competitive compensation package consisting of base salary, commission, and stock options. All Looma compensation packages include some cash / equity flexibility (i.e. you can opt for more equity and less cash or vice-versa).
