beehiiv is the all-in-one newsletter and creator platform powering the next generation of media companies and independent voices. We help creators and businesses launch, grow, and monetize newsletters — now serving tens of thousands of publishers and reaching hundreds of millions of readers monthly. As we approach $30M in ARR and continue to grow more than 100% YoY, our expanded product suite (featuring our ad network, website builder, and paid tiers) positions us for the next stage of hypergrowth.

Our SaaS Enterprise team partners with the world's largest media companies, publishers, and brands to bring their newsletter and audience strategy to beehiiv. We are seeing strong inbound demand, but the next leg of growth will be driven by targeted, intelligent outbound.

We are hiring an Account Executive to fuel our Enterprise pipeline. Your job is simple to describe and hard to do well: create and close opportunities by connecting with buyers, deeply understanding their pain, and delivering a clear plan for beehiiv to fix that pain and create value.

This is a high-impact, high-visibility role with a clear path to large commission and promotion for top performers.

Note that ideal candidates are based in the U.S.

Ideally, you'll have:

  • Experience: 2–4 years working in sales at a Saas startup with a focus on aggressive outbound, strategic enterprise deal management, and closing experience.
  • Track Record: Demonstrable history of smashing quotas and delivering as a top performer on the team
  • Hunter Mentality: You always want more. More leads, more opportunities, more closed deals, and more commission.  You are never satisfied.
  • Process Driven: You fully understand the need to maintain structure and stay organized across your outbound efforts, your active deals, and your long-term nurturing work.
  • Strong Written Communication: You can deliver a thoughtful, well-written email that, across all stages of the sales process, advances opportunities.
  • Phone Confidence: You're comfortable picking up the phone. Cold calls don't scare you, and rejection just means you're moving on to the next opportunity.
  • Research Instincts: You fully understand the importance of being prepared for every interaction with a prospect and appreciate the value of great research and preparation.
  • Big Dreams: You recognize the opportunity that comes with joining a high-growth company at this stage and see this role as a great launching pad for a big career.
  • Coachability: You take feedback well, you iterate quickly, and you obsess over what's working and what's not in your own funnel.
  • Newsletter or Media Knowledge: Not required, but a plus if you understand the newsletter, creator, or publishing landscape.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Delivering Results: You will blow out quota and close well over $1M in ARR.
  • Build the Pipeline: This role is full-cycle.
  • Account Research & Targeting: Identify and prioritize target accounts that fit our Enterprise ICP. Map the right contacts, understand their business, and build a relevant point of view before reaching out.
  • Multi-Channel Outbound: Run high-quality outbound sequences across email, phone, and LinkedIn. Test, iterate, and double down on what works.
  • Full Deal Management: Run discovery conversations to qualify fit, identify pain, map that pain to beehiiv’s functionality, engage senior stakeholders, and close the deal.
  • CRM Hygiene: Keep HubSpot clean. Log activity, update contact and account data, and maintain accurate stage information so the team can trust the pipeline.
  • Surface Signal: Bring back what you're hearing in the field — objections, competitive feedback, messaging that lands — so we get smarter every week.

Why this role might be for you:

  • You want to accelerate a career in enterprise SaaS sales.
  • You’re never satisfied and have a strong desire to succeed.
  • You'd rather build a pipeline than wait for it.
  • You want to sell a product that real customers love at a company growing 100%+ YoY.
  • You can make the most of an enterprise SaaS stack that includes HubSpot, Sybill, Clay, Claude, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • You're excited to learn alongside an experienced group

Why this role might not be for you:

  • Not a traditional 9-to-5 position.
  • Need to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Must be comfortable with rapid iteration and frequent context switching.
  • High expectations for both speed and quality.
  • You don't enjoy outbound prospecting or the rejection that comes with it.

Why beehiiv?

  • Bias towards action: Our first impulse is to act. We don't get bogged down in unnecessary processes or bullsh**. Perfection is the enemy of progress.
  • Ownership mentality: This company is ours. We go the extra mile because that's what owners do. Every day, people step up to take on tasks outside of their responsibilities and do whatever it takes for us to succeed.
  • Building is in our DNA: We are obsessed with improving every aspect of our platform (and ourselves). Whether it's our product, support, or partnerships, we never stop working to improve it.
  • We answer to our users: Nothing matters more than serving our users. If our users fail, we fail.
  • Ego comes second, but winning comes first: We put our egos aside to work collaboratively and build something special. It doesn't matter whose idea or whose vision — we're here to create the best outcome. We're here to win.

We'll take care of you:

  • Competitive Salary
  • Stock Options
  • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • 401(k) Employer Match
  • Unlimited PTO (mandatory 10 days per year minimum)
  • Annual In-person Team Retreat
  • Unlimited Book Budget
  • Monthly Wellness Days (every third Friday of the month!)
