Account Executive - Legal Tech

How this role will Serve, Own and Grow at Rev:

As an Account Executive at Rev, you will drive adoption of our AI-powered solutions within the legal market, with a focus on criminal defense, prospection investigations. Your role will center on building and closing new law firm and county justice relationships by translating your legal domain expertise into strategic sales execution. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of law and technology, ideal for a legal professional ready to pivot into the legal tech space.

🔍 Responsibilities:
  • Own and manage a target list of criminal defense law firms, district attorneys, public defender offices, and investigatory agencies, driving the full sales cycle—from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and close

  • Generate new opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, and leveraging existing Rev partnerships

  • Consistently exceed revenue targets and key performance metrics

  • Build strong relationships with legal and public sector stakeholders, including attorneys, investigators, IT directors, and procurement officials

  • Conduct compelling product demos and client presentations that highlight Rev’s value in real-world legal scenarios

  • Document sales learnings and contribute to the development of scalable playbooks and resources for future sales hires

Qualifications:
  • 3–5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally in legal tech, government technology, or public sector software

  • Knowledge of the criminal justice system and workflows within law firms or public agencies, with the ability to translate legal pain points into actionable AI solutions

  • Strong grasp of the typical concerns attorneys and government entities raise when evaluating new technology, especially around AI adoption

  • Proven track record of success managing complex sales cycles - managing multi-stakeholder, explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences - and closing deals with government or legal entities

  • Enthusiastic about legal innovation, with a demonstrated interest in AI and helping legal professionals work more efficiently

  • Self-starter with a passion for prospecting and closing, comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced environment

  • Collaborative mindset and eagerness to contribute to sales strategy, team development, and process improvement
