The Small Market Account Executive for CareBenefits by Care.com, will proactively build customer and broker relationships for employers with up to 1,000 employees, while consistently achieving and exceeding revenue objectives. This position will ideally have experience working with Benefits Brokers, Human Resources, Finance, and IT organizations. CareBenefits by Care.com, provides family care benefits for employers and their employees.

Our products enable employees to manage all their family care needs, so they can focus on being present and productive at work. This position calls for a strategic, solutions-oriented and relationship builder, to work with brokers and prospective customers to create awareness and value, negotiate business terms, and secure partnerships that are mutually beneficial to Care.com and our customer.

Work Location: 2801 N Central Expy Suite 1150, Dallas, TX 75204

Work Environment: Hybrid - In office Monday, Wednesday & Thursday

What You'll Be Working On:

  • New business generation for CareBenefits by Care.com
  • Create and maintain a consistent, balanced and accurate pipeline of opportunities in assigned territory and progress those deals through the sales cycle to close
  • Achieve individual revenue goals/quota on a consistent quarterly and annual basis
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with local and regional brokers to drive brand recognition for CareBenefits and uncover additional group opportunities 
  • Serve as a strategic advisor/thought leader representing CareBenefits’ products, while bringing relevant industry and competitive insights to market
  • Consult with C-level executives and HR/Benefit teams to develop an effective, enterprise-wide strategy that improves the value delivered by CareBenefits’ products and services
  • Interact with potential partners, industry groups, and other key external partners to understand and evaluate business opportunities, and to develop, modify and implement business development activities
  • Work closely with the CareBenefits by Care.com management team to analyze sales and financial metrics

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience acquiring new customers
  • Experience selling into human resources and benefits teams
  • Experience selling to all levels of decision-makers, (e.g., Managers, Directors, VP and C-level+)
  • Organized and process-oriented in approach and prioritization of opportunities and tasks
  • Successfully able to manage concurrent activities across the sales cycle and multiple opportunities
  • Negotiating & Closing Skills – ability to consistently close deals through effective negotiations
  • Proven ability to work in a fast paced, high volume, and deadline driven sales role
  • Ability to maintain accurate information on each prospect account in Salesforce CRM
  • Technology oriented - willing to leverage AI and a combination of sales technology programs to increase efficiency 
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • High degree of integrity and professionalism
  • Ability to effectively manage time to maximize productivity and results
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Strong presentation skills to small and large audiences, including C-level audiences

Salary Range:  $72,000-$80,000 Base + Commission.

The base salary range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the national salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Care.com’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and short- and long-term incentives. In addition, Care.com provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life, and disability insurance, a generous 401K employer matching program, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
