The Account Executive will drive customer acquisition for DroneSense in public safety agencies, manage sales cycles, and collaborate with engineering and marketing teams to close deals.
We are seeking motivated Regional Account Executives to drive new customer acquisition across public safety agencies with fewer than 150 sworn officers. This role focuses on high-velocity, repeatable sales execution while maintaining a strong understanding of agency workflows, operational needs, and procurement requirements.
As a key contributor within the revenue organization, you will work closely with Solutions Engineering and Marketing to generate pipeline, run structured discovery, and guide agencies through evaluation and purchase of DroneSense by Versaterm.
What You Do
- Prospect, qualify, and close new public safety customers within assigned territory
- Manage multiple concurrent sales cycles with consistency and structure
- Conduct discovery to understand agency operations, challenges, and mission priorities
- Apply MEDDIC fundamentals to deal qualification and forecasting
- Partner with Solutions Engineering for demonstrations and evaluations
- Maintain accurate CRM data, pipeline hygiene, and forecast discipline
- Represent DroneSense by Versaterm at regional events and agency meetings
What You Bring
- 3–6 years of sales experience in SaaS, GovTech, or public sector environments
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-velocity sales cycles
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfort engaging a range of public safety stakeholders
- Willingness to travel regionally between 25% to 50% cyclically.
*DroneSense employs full time US citizens or naturalized citizens from a NATO country, who are current residents in one of the 50 contiguous United States. Though our positions are "remote" we do not work with offshore/near shore individuals or contractors to stay in compliance with our client's requirements.
