- Identify and target potential clients
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through proactive prospecting and lead generation activities
- Conduct thorough research to understand the needs, pain points, and priorities of prospective clients
- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value of Canoe Intelligence's solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales engineering, business development, marketing, and client success, to ensure a seamless client onboarding and implementation process
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing agreements to drive successful deal closures
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to the sales management team
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes that impact the institutional sector
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ year track record of success in fintech sales and business development
- Strong knowledge of the alternative investment industry, including key players, industry regulations, and market trends
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with senior-level decision makers and influencers
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on driving revenue growth
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented mindset
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales productivity tools (Outreach, Zoom Info, Highspot)
- MBA highly preferred
