About the Role

We are looking for a senior, full-cycle Account Executive to join our B2B team and grow OpusClip's business and enterprise customer base. You will generate pipeline, run discovery, demonstrate the product, navigate complex buying groups, negotiate commercial terms, and close new business.

This is not a role for someone who depends on an established territory, a traditional BDR team, or a fixed sales playbook. Our go-to-market motion is AI-native and supported by GTM engineering (Anthropic wrote about us here), but Account Executives are expected to create a meaningful share of their own pipeline.

What You'll DoOwn the Full Sales Cycle
  • Prospect into target accounts and generate a meaningful share of your own pipeline.

  • Run thoughtful discovery that uncovers business needs, workflows, decision criteria, and measurable value.

  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations tailored to users, champions, and executive buyers.

  • Build business cases, multi-thread across buying groups, navigate procurement and security, and lead negotiations through signature.

  • Close both faster-moving business and mid-market opportunities and complex enterprise deals.

  • Maintain a balanced pipeline rather than relying on a single large opportunity to hit your target.

  • Own accurate CRM hygiene, forecasting, next steps, and deal strategy.

Help Build an AI-Native Go-to-Market Motion
  • Partner with our GTM engineer to use AI, data, and automation to identify and engage high-potential accounts.

  • Test new outbound strategies, messaging, use cases, pricing, and positioning.

  • Adapt as we expand from media into new customer segments, including marketing teams at technology, financial services, and other enterprises.

  • Turn what you learn in the market into actionable feedback for Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and leadership.

  • Help improve the sales motion without waiting for a complete playbook.

Close the Right Customers
  • Qualify rigorously for customer need, urgency, product fit, and likelihood of long-term success.

  • Sell with integrity and avoid forcing deals that are unlikely to adopt or renew.

  • Partner closely with Customer Success on clean handoffs and durable account plans.

  • Identify expansion paths while setting realistic expectations with customers.

What We're Looking ForRequired
  • 5+ years of quota-carrying B2B SaaS sales experience, including ownership of the full sales cycle.

  • A demonstrated record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.

  • Experience closing six-figure enterprise contracts with multiple stakeholders and long, complex sales cycles.

  • Ability and willingness to close smaller $20,000–$50,000 opportunities efficiently while building larger strategic deals.

  • Strong outbound and pipeline-generation skills; you do not wait for qualified meetings to appear on your calendar.

  • Excellent discovery, demonstration, negotiation, and closing ability.

  • Disciplined forecasting and pipeline management, with evidence that you build multiple paths to target.

  • Experience succeeding in a startup or another fast-changing environment with limited structure.

  • Adaptability: you can learn new products, buyers, industries, and sales motions quickly.

  • Sound judgment, resilience, and a customer-first approach to qualification.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings and industry events.

Especially Valuable
  • Experience selling video, content creation, social media, marketing, or other creative workflow software.

  • Familiarity with the needs of media companies, content teams, and enterprise marketers.

  • Experience using AI, automation, and data creatively in outbound prospecting and account research.

  • Experience selling new products or entering markets where the playbook was still being built.

Industry relationships are welcome, but they are not a substitute for sales craft. We are looking for a proven seller who can create opportunities and close business beyond an existing personal network.

What Success Looks Like

You will ramp into the product, market, and active pipeline quickly, then build repeatable pipeline of your own. You will close near-term opportunities without losing focus on enterprise accounts, forecast with accuracy, and demonstrate that you can move between different customer segments as our business evolves.

Success means consistently delivering revenue while bringing in customers who adopt OpusClip, realize value, and are positioned to renew and expand.

Why Join OpusClip
  • Competitive Base Salary + Equity + Uncapped Commission. On-target earnings (OTE) up to $140K–$190K annually

  • Sell a category-leading AI product already used by more than 10 million creators and businesses.

  • Work with leading media organizations and enterprise marketing teams.

  • Join an AI-native go-to-market team that pairs strong sellers with GTM engineering.

  • Help define how a fast-growing company sells new products to new markets.

  • Receive competitive compensation with a performance-based variable component, plus comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits.
