Account Executive (US)
Affiliate & Influencer Marketing — Acceleration Partners

LOCATION

This is a remote, work-from-home role, as are all positions at Acceleration Partners, a structure central to our culture and our vision to change the work/life paradigm. Occasional travel may be required for internal meetings or conferences. Applicants must be based in the U.S. in the Eastern or Central time zone.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for an Account Executive to manage and convert inbound demand for our Affiliate and Influencer Marketing Services. This is an operational, full-cycle closing role: our marketing team generates the leads, and you qualify, route, and run the sales process on the opportunities that come to you, taking deals under $250K in annual contract value from first conversation through signed contract yourself.

This is not a prospecting or outbound role; you won't be expected to build your own pipeline from scratch. Your focus is on being an excellent steward of the leads we generate: qualifying quickly and accurately, routing anything outside your scope to the right owner, and running a tight, credible sales process across a steady flow of inbound opportunities.

TOP 5 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Inbound Lead Management & Qualification: Own the intake of inbound leads generated by our marketing team. Qualify each opportunity quickly and accurately, and route anything outside your scope (by deal size or segment) to the right owner.
  2. Full-Cycle Sales Execution: Manage qualified deals under $250K ACV from first contact through close, including negotiation and contracting. Own the timeline and keep the process moving.
  3. Consultative Program Strategy: Ask the right questions, understand each prospect's business challenges, and build the strategic recommendation yourself, showing how Affiliate and Influencer Marketing can drive measurable growth for their business.
  4. Pitch Delivery & Presentation: Present your recommendation directly to the prospect. You're the face of the strategy in the room; marketing and sales support can help with collateral and modeling, but the pitch is yours to deliver.
  5. Pipeline Discipline & Subject Matter Expertise: Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene and accurate forecasting on your book of inbound opportunities, and stay current on the Affiliate and Influencer Marketing space so you're a credible, trusted advisor to every prospect you engage.

WHAT YOU BRING

Sales Experience

  • Demonstrated track record of closing deals under $250K in annual contract value, owning the strategic pitch yourself without handing it off
  • Comfortable managing a fast-moving, full sales cycle, sometimes with multiple stakeholders, sometimes with a single decision-maker
  • Experience selling into marketing or ecommerce departments at growing or mid-sized companies is a strong plus

Digital Marketing Knowledge

  • Deep understanding of the digital marketing space, with specific knowledge in one or more of: Affiliate / Influencer, customer acquisition strategy, revenue growth marketing, mobile marketing, CRM and lifecycle marketing, or ecommerce growth channels
  • Ability to speak credibly with marketing buyers about performance, measurement, and channel strategy, since you're building and delivering that argument yourself

Technical & Tools Proficiency

  • Salesforce, required; HubSpot an advantage
  • AI fluency, using AI tools to work smarter in research, proposal development, or pipeline management
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Independent, Full-Cycle Selling

  • Comfortable owning a deal solo, from qualified inbound lead through signed contract, pulling in marketing or sales support for collateral and modeling but not reliant on anyone else to carry the narrative
  • Strong time management and prioritization across a steady flow of inbound opportunities
  • Sharp qualification instincts and good judgment about what to route elsewhere
  • Mature judgment, adaptability, and the ability to solve problems independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • AI fluent and committed to continuous improvement

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of digital marketing or marketing services sales experience
  • Demonstrated experience closing full-cycle deals independently, without dedicated strategy or account management support
  • Experience selling into marketing and/or ecommerce departments at mid-sized or growing brands
  • Experience managing and qualifying inbound lead flow
  • Salesforce required; HubSpot an advantage
  • A genuine interest in AI tools, including hands-on experience integrating AI into your work
  • Must be based in the US in the Eastern or Central time zone

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

By 3 Months… You're fully up to speed on Acceleration Partners' value proposition, services, and sales process. You're efficiently qualifying and routing inbound leads, running full sales cycles solo on your qualified opportunities, and can position our managed services against client needs without help building the pitch.

By 1 Year… You've closed multiple deals sourced through inbound flow, contributed to sales process improvements, sharpened how leads get qualified and routed, and built a reputation as a seller who can run a deal from first inbound conversation to signature on your own.
