Description

At Rand Technology, we are looking for a driven B2B sales professional with a track record of closing deals and building strong client relationships in the electronic components, computer hardware, ITAD, electronic distribution, or supply chain space to join our team on a remote basis in the state of Texas. Role Summary 

The Account Executive, energized by a fast-paced environment, will bring together suppliers and clients with critical needs related to supply shortages and excess inventories and collaborate with them to solve those problems. The Account Executive will work with an intelligent and driven global team where each day is filled with opportunities to create value in business-to-business sales.

This role is fully remote based in the state of Texas. 

Essential Functions 

  • Prospect, develop and service client relationships and business opportunities 
  • Clearly understand a client’s business requirements and work closely with the Sales Management to support those requirements and offer solutions 
  • Acquire and sell electronic components across multiple business sectors 
  • Efficiently work with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, to analyze large parts lists with the purpose of valuing and formatting to promote the sale 
  • Adhere to Rand protocols for committing company resources and executing transactions 

Core Competencies 

  • Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel; highly internet savvy 
  • Highly motivated to deliver clients with the best service experience each and every time 
  • Aptitude to connect with clients, build and nurture relationships and close sales over the phone 
  • Self-motivated with an exceptional work ethic 
  • Ability to work well within a team and cross functionally 
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills; ability to read, write correspondence, and communicate in English 
  • Strong analytical ability and demonstrated problem solving skills 
  • Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level 
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment 
  • Able to work under pressure and effectively manage stress 
  • Goal-oriented, ambitious, extremely motivated 

Requirements

Education and/or Experience and Physical Requirements 

  • 5-7 years of experience in a fast-paced sales/telemarketing environment in the electronic components, computer parts and/or ITAD industry preferred 
  • Demonstrated experience with fast sales cycles and very high number of transaction outputs
