The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for building and maintaining a book of business. The AE serves as the primary contact for external and internal customers, is responsible for making judgments and discretionary decisions that affect the operations of the organization and effectively communicates those judgments and decisions to the customer. The Account Executive is also responsible for appropriately communicating customer requirements to the Account Managers (AM), in accordance with company policies and procedures. The individual must have comprehensive knowledge of and sell all offered serviced of Prisma including printing, mail, large format, ad promotion, Prisma Technologies, and other capabilities added. They must be excellent communicators and be proficient in all Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and HubSpot. Finally, the AE must be comfortable selling as a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting for new business and maintaining existing business.
  • Making initial client contact and building trust and relationships.
  • Identifying customer needs and communicating how Prisma can provide solutions to those needs.
  • Orchestrating and directing a team to sell and then manage the customer.
  • Setting goals and objectives and perform Quarterly Business Reviews to manage the progress and process.
  • Create sales goals and monitor progress to goals.
  • Developing long term goals and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Identifying threats and proactively organizing solutions.
Qualifications

Skills and Abilities

  • Possesses an extensive understanding of Prisma’s offerings and value proposition.
  • Effective communications – written and verbal.
  • Able to work in a team setting and lead when necessary.
  • Ability to listen and identify creative solutions.
  • Performs all duties with a high degree of skill and minimal supervision.
  • Performs other duties and assumes other responsibilities as apparent or assigned.

Education/Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of college or 5 years of work experience.
  • Previous sales experience is beneficial.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.

Requirements

  • The employee is required to have a drivers license.
  • The employee must lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
