Fox TV Stations

FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network’s national content.

JOB DESCRIPTION

KTBC FOX7, the FOX O&O in Austin, TX is looking for an Account Executive that can bring together all our resources (KTBC Local News, FOX NFL, College Football, MLB, College Basketball, World Cup Soccer and a full suite of digital platforms) in a creative manner to achieve high level results.  The ideal candidate will have a solid track record in new business development and digital OTT/CTV sales along with strong agency negotiation and communication skills plus prior experience selling multi-platform initiatives (linear and digital).  We are looking for individuals with a hunter mentality and the ability to be a resource and consultant for clients.  A professional that enjoys marketing, has a passion for people, and thrives in a high-volume B2B activity environment -- a motivated, results-oriented, self-starter with a competitive spirit and desire to win!

The FOX7 multi-screen Account Executive must be able to use strong communication and presentation skills throughout the sales process and maintain a high closing ratio.

The ideal candidate will have thorough knowledge of audience-based impressions (ComScore or NSI), digital and multi-platform initiatives, and must be able to identify share and revenue growth opportunities with digital, transactional and new business clients.  Candidate will listen to client needs, prepare a strategic marketing plan, present and close business with a consultative approach.

The candidate will work closely with Sales Managers and the Regional Digital Sales Manager to meet specific measurable sales targets. 

Candidate should have strong time management and organizational skills. Must be able to work in a fast paced, evolving environment. Solid problem-solving, communication and strategic skills required.  

The successful candidate will consistently package all platforms together and routinely present the benefits of integrating linear and digital advertising (OTT, Streaming, mobile, and display) creating a true multi-platform campaign. 

Candidates who are proficient with Wide Orbit Traffic, Wide Orbit Media Sales, and MS Office (including Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook) preferred. Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.

Other duties assigned as deemed necessary and appropriate.

The compensation for this position has a base salary of $65,000-$68,000 along with potential for additional sales bonus and commissions up to and beyond $135,000. 

Four-year College degree is preferred.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $65,000.00-68,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for a sales incentive/commission compensation plan, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
