🌏 Mission: At OpenCourt, our mission is to get more people to co-organize and enjoy playing sports, while helping owners and operators run and grow their sports clubs. Our industry is dominated by outdated, transactional systems that get in the way of that, and we’re on a mission to change that.

💻 Product: OpenCourt is a modern software platform built for sports clubs (such as pickleball, padel, or golf) and entertainment facilities. We help operators manage reservations, memberships, events, and point of sale in one place. We’re social first and believe that player experience shouldn’t end when they book their court, bay, or tee time – we take it beyond and help players connect, invite each other, and co-organize games.

📈 Scale: We’re an early stage startup with strong traction, and we’re growing FAST. We’re in the midst of aggressive national expansion, and are actively scaling our marketing and sales efforts to capture a significant portion of the market.

Your Role

We are looking for a driven Account Executive to help us sign new pickleball clubs across North America. This is an outbound heavy, full cycle role. You will be prospecting, making cold calls, running meetings on Google Meet, and closing deals with new clubs. Strong performers will be closing 2 to 4 new clubs per week. The role includes occasional travel to conferences and industry events.

You will be:

  • Prospecting and building a pipeline of pickleball clubs and facilities (as well as leverage the pipeline built by our SDR)
  • Making cold calls to upcoming or already open clubs and their owners/operators
  • Running discovery and demos via video calls, uncovering customer needs and opportunities, and geting owners/operators excited about OpenCourt
  • Owning the full sales cycle from first outreach through signed agreement
  • Building strong rapport and long term relationships with club owners and operators
  • Sharing feedback from the field to help refine our pitch and product

Who You Are

  • Strong communicator who can quickly build rapport and trust
  • Great at asking questions and genuinely curious about how clubs run their business
  • Know how to handle objections and navigate negotiations
  • Persistent, outbound focused hunter with a clear bias to action
  • Organized and reliable with strong record keeping habits
  • Excited by sports and fitness based businesses. Bonus points for being obsessed with pickleball and padel.

What we offer

You’ll work as a part of a lean, performance-driven team, closely with the founder, gaining true full cycle SaaS sales experience and playing a key role in OpenCourt’s next stage of growth.

You’ll be earning a combination of base + commission OTE at $90-160K+, plus an equity component.
