About Workstreet

At Workstreet, we’re on an exciting journey to help businesses scale securely by designing and implementing cutting-edge security and compliance programs. As a fast-growing startup, we specialize in a wide range of frameworks—including SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, CMMC, NIST 800-171, NIST 800-53, and FedRAMP—empowering companies to meet regulatory requirements and enhance their cybersecurity posture from day one.

The Opportunity

We're looking for an Account Executive to join our growing GTM team. This is an entry-level sales position perfect for someone who wants to build a career at the intersection of security, compliance, and sales. You'll learn to become a trusted advisor, not just a salesperson, helping prospects understand and solve their compliance challenges.

As an Account Executive, you'll support the full sales cycle within our Startup Segment (0-20 FTE companies) while developing deep expertise in security and compliance frameworks. This isn't about cold-calling or running scripts – it's about learning to become a technical expert who can guide customers through complex buying decisions.

What You'll Do
  • Learn and Apply Technical Knowledge: Develop expertise in SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and other compliance frameworks to have meaningful conversations with prospects
  • Support the Sales Process: Assist with discovery calls, proposal development while learning to manage deals independently
  • Engage with Stakeholders: Build relationships with security leaders, compliance teams, and technical buyers at growing SaaS companies
  • Qualify and Nurture Leads: Identify high-potential prospects and understand their compliance challenges and business needs
  • Collaborate with Senior Team Members: Shadow senior AEs, learn best practices, and gradually take on more complex deals
  • Document and Improve Processes: Help refine our sales playbooks, messaging, and qualification criteria based on your learnings
Who You Are
  • 1-3 years of experience in a sales, customer success, or technical support role (SaaS experience preferred)
  • Eager to learn about security and compliance – you don't need to be an expert yet, but you should be excited to become one
  • Strong communicator who can break down complex topics into simple, clear explanations
  • Naturally curious with excellent discovery skills and the ability to uncover real business pain points
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • Growth mindset – you're looking to build a career in enterprise software sales and want to learn from experienced professionals
  • Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced startup environments and takes initiative without constant direction

Nice to Have

  • Basic understanding of security and compliance concepts (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR)
  • Experience working with technical buyers or in a technical environment
  • Previous exposure to the SaaS sales process
  • Familiarity with HubSpot and sales tools
What We Offer
  • Career Development: Clear path with mentorship and training opportunities
  • Technical Training: Comprehensive onboarding on security and compliance frameworks
  • Competitive Compensation: A competitive base salary with regular performance reviews linked to merit-based appraisals and bonus opportunities.
  • Growth Opportunity: Early-stage company with significant room for career advancement.
  • Remote-First Culture: Flexibility to work from anywhere while collaborating with a global team.
Work Environment Requirements
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection.
  • Quiet, professional home office setup.
  • Must be amenable to work US Eastern Time zone hours.
  • Fluency in written and verbal English communication skills.
