About OuterSignal

OuterSignal is a marketing intelligence and personalization platform that helps consumer brands better understand their customers better by appending demographic, lifestyle, and behavioral data to customer orders in real-time. We serve 150+ brands and are growing 50% month-over-month - all within our first 6 months of operation. We're a small, high-performing team building the category-defining platform for e-commerce customer intelligence, backed by a world-class investor base.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a mid-level Account Executive to join our sales team and help drive our next phase of growth. You'll run the full sales cycle for SMB accounts - from managing inbound leads through product demos to closing deals. This is a high-impact role where you'll be selling to founders, marketing leaders, and eCommerce operators at growing DTC brands, helping them transform how they understand and activate their customer data.

What You’ll Do

  • Run the sales cycle: Manage inbound leads from qualification through demo, negotiation, and close

  • Run product demos: Showcase OuterSignal's platform to eCommerce brands, demonstrating how customer intelligence drives reactivation, segmentation, and revenue growth

  • Build relationships: Act as a trusted advisor to DTC brand operators, understanding their business challenges and positioning OuterSignal as the solution

  • Hit your numbers: Meet monthly revenue quotas and drive consistent pipeline growth

  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with our customer success, product, and marketing teams to ensure prospects become successful customers

  • Become a product expert: Develop deep knowledge of OuterSignal's platform and the broader eCommerce tech stack

  • Influence product direction: Share customer insights and feedback that shape our product roadmap

What We're Looking For

  • 2-4 years of sales experience in SaaS, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota

  • eCommerce fluency: Understanding of the DTC ecosystem, Shopify, and how brands think about customer data and marketing

  • Experience selling to SMB accounts with deal sizes typically in the $10K-30K range

  • Consultative selling approach: You're not just pitching features - you're solving problems and building relationships

  • Self-starter mentality: You thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and can work autonomously

  • Strong communicator: Excellent at running demos, handling objections, and moving deals forward

  • Tech savvy: Comfortable understanding integrations, APIs, and how SaaS products fit into a brand's tech stack

What We Offer

  • Impact: Join at the ground floor where your work directly influences company trajectory

  • Growth: Rapid company growth creates exceptional learning and advancement opportunities

  • Flexibility: Remote-first culture with autonomy over your work

  • Team: Work alongside the founding team

  • Mission: Revolutionizing the way brands understand and market to their customers
