This role is ideal for a sales professional who wants to build and scale from an early foundation while benefiting from the stability, tooling, and institutional knowledge of a more established organization.

Role at a Glance:

We are seeking a high-performing Account Executive with experience selling into fintech, payments infrastructure, or cross-border financial platforms.

This role is responsible for developing pipeline, leading consultative sales cycles, and closing new Bitwage customers across global payroll, vendor payments, and contractor payout use cases.

The ideal candidate understands the cross-border payments ecosystem and can quickly articulate the value of faster, lower-cost global payouts versus traditional banking rails.

Unlike traditional SaaS roles, Bitwage revenue is driven primarily by transaction processing volume and payment flows, making familiarity with payments infrastructure and FX dynamics particularly valuable.

What You’ll Do
  • Build and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities through outbound prospecting, inbound lead management, and industry networking
  • Run consultative discovery with companies managing distributed teams, global payroll, or cross-border vendor payments
  • Educate prospects on the benefits of Bitwage’s global payout infrastructure, including faster settlement, lower FX costs, and simplified contractor payments
  • Lead the full sales cycle from discovery through contract negotiation and activation
  • Partner with internal teams including Product, Operations, and Customer Success to ensure successful onboarding and early customer adoption
  • Position Bitwage against traditional banking rails, payroll platforms, and FX providers
  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and activity tracking in CRM
  • Stay informed on trends across fintech, payments infrastructure, and global payroll markets
  • Meet or exceed pipeline generation and revenue targets tied to payment processing volume
What You'll Bring
  • 3–6+ years of experience in B2B sales
  • Experience selling fintech, payments infrastructure, or financial services technology
  • Demonstrated success managing full-cycle sales
  • Strong consultative selling skills and ability to simplify complex financial workflows
  • Experience building pipeline through outbound and relationship-driven selling
Strongly Preferred
  • Experience with cross-border payments or FX
  • Exposure to global payroll or contractor payout platforms
  • Familiarity with payment processors, fintech infrastructure, or crypto-enabled payments
  • Startup or early-stage company experience

Compensation and Benefits
  • Base Salary range: $90,000-$120,000 
  • On Target Earnings (OTE): ~$180,000 up to $240,000+
  • Commission: Performance-based commission tied to payment processing revenue
