About Stash

Stash is the commerce infrastructure layer for apps going direct-to-consumer: web shops, checkout, payments, promotions, loyalty, analytics in one integrated stack. Backed by Andreessen Horowitz and led by veterans from Scopely, Twitch, YouTube, AppLovin, and other category-defining companies, we’re a lean team punching well above our weight. When we get in the room, we win.

We work with some of the highest-grossing apps in gaming and are expanding into dating, lifestyle, and entertainment. Our customers are high-revenue apps rethinking how they monetize outside the App Store. The market is large, growing fast, and still early.

Why This Role, Why Now

Stash has built strong product-market fit and a growing base of marquee enterprise accounts. We're looking for someone with high agency, deep curiosity about how apps make money, and the drive to close deals that matter. If you want to be early at a company defining a category, this is the role.

What You'll Do
  • Build pipeline. Identify and prioritize high-value accounts across gaming and adjacent verticals. Self-source into monetization, product, and revenue leaders. Work industry events (GDC, Gamescom, PGC, and more) with a pre-qualified meeting strategy, not booth duty.

  • Run complex deals. Navigate multi-stakeholder buying processes across product, engineering, finance, and C-suite. Build the business case, scope the migration, and own the cycle from first conversation through close and activation.

  • Shape the GTM. Work closely with a senior team with backgrounds from leading gaming and consumer technology companies. Feed market intelligence back to Product. Collaborate with Developer Experience, Design, and Marketing to improve everything that helps you close.

Who You Are

Must-Haves

  • 2–5 years closing experience (AE, BD, or partnerships) in B2B SaaS, payments, or commerce infrastructure. Experience selling into gaming, dating, social, lifestyle, or other mobile-first consumer apps is a strong plus.

  • Full-cycle seller. You prospect, you run discovery, you close.

  • Able to travel ~25% for events and prospect meetings.

  • Based in the US or EMEA

  • Fluent in English. Additional languages are a plus.

What Sets You Apart

  • You come from gaming, dating, or another high-monetization consumer vertical and understand how these companies think about revenue, not just payments.

  • You've sold against entrenched incumbents and know how to build champions inside complex organizations.

  • You have warm relationships at studios, publishers, or consumer app companies. Even a few of the right intros accelerate this role dramatically. This is not a must-have.

  • You’re comfortable discussing APIs, payment method coverage, and merchant-of-record models without being an engineer.

  • You're energized by category creation vs. working off a known playbook developed without your input.

What We Offer
  • Competitive OTE with uncapped variable compensation

  • Early-stage equity

  • Remote-first team

  • A high-trust, low-politics environment with direct access to leadership

  • The chance to help build something that matters from the ground up
