Account Executive
Company: Mirror Advisors
Location: Fully remote, with requirement to be based in a major Texas city (Houston, Dallas, or Austin) to drive local presence and facilitate in-person client meetings and networking.
Employment Type: Full-time, W2 position (no health benefits provided).
Probationary Period: 3 months.

Job Overview

Mirror Advisors provides end-to-end Software Consulting & Implementation Services, helping businesses transition from inefficient processes—like relying on spreadsheets, lacking visibility in reporting, or manual data entry—to scalable, customized software solutions for sales, marketing, accounting, and support. We take a business-first approach: understanding your processes, then integrating software efficiently to save money, improve cash flow, and deliver long-term ROI through enhanced efficiency and operational visibility.

We're seeking an ambitious Account Executive to drive B2B sales growth by proactively creating opportunities, rather than relying primarily on our inbound leads from web presence, referrals, and digital marketing. In this full-cycle sales role, you'll handle everything from prospecting to closing, with a heavy emphasis on outbound activities (70% of time) such as cold calling, networking, outbound consulting, and even assisting in marketing efforts. You'll also manage inbound leads (30% of time) while focusing on building a robust pipeline quickly—aiming to close $50k in new sales per month. We expect results from day one, including demonstrating leadership in improving our sales processes, upselling, and ensuring client retention for long-term partnerships. This is a high-autonomy position with uncapped commissions, ideal for a self-starter motivated by engaging with people, identifying community opportunities, and thriving in a resource-constrained environment without a dedicated SDR.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively create sales opportunities through outbound prospecting (e.g., cold calls, networking, outbound consulting) to build and maintain a strong pipeline, supplementing our inbound leads from digital marketing, web presence, and referrals.

  • Sell implementation services, software consultations, and automation solutions to mid-market clients, emphasizing our business-first approach to deliver scalable, customized integrations that enhance efficiency, visibility, and ROI.

  • Handle the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualifying leads, delivering presentations to C-Suite executives, writing proposals using templates, closing deals, and collecting payments.

  • Collaborate with software vendors to strengthen relationships and enhance offerings.

  • Market yourself alongside the Mirror Advisors brand, including creating business consulting videos, targeted messages to CEOs, and assisting in marketing activities to generate leads.

  • Focus on customer retention through upselling, process improvements, and building lasting relationships—avoiding a "churn and burn" mentality.

  • Utilize CRM tools to track activities, demonstrate leadership in refining sales processes, and achieve ambitious targets like building a pipeline in the first 3 months and closing $50k in monthly new sales.

  • Occasionally travel for in-person client meetings, networking events, or community outreach (primarily within Texas) to strengthen local presence.

Requirements
  • 1-3 years of B2B sales experience, with proven success in full-cycle sales, outbound prospecting, and creating opportunities independently.

  • Strong ambition and confidence to hit aggressive goals, such as closing $50k in new sales per month and building a pipeline within the first 3 months.

  • Experience in cold calling, networking, and assisting with marketing activities; motivated by interpersonal engagement and community opportunity identification.

  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and high organizational skills to manage a lean, results-driven environment.

  • Leadership qualities to improve sales processes, upsell effectively, and prioritize client retention.

  • Excellent communication skills for presentations, proposals, and executive-level interactions.

  • Based in Houston, Dallas, or Austin, Texas, with willingness to travel occasionally.

  • Ability to produce results with limited tools and resources, demonstrating a "do whatever it takes" mindset.

Benefits

This role offers a competitive base salary of approximately $65,000, plus uncapped commissions structured as a base plus variable incentive plan. You'll earn 7% commission on initial deals (e.g., $700 on a $10,000 upfront payment) and 5% on all subsequent renewals. Estimated On-Target Earnings (OTE) range from $80,000–$120,000+ in the first year, with significant upside for high performers exceeding $50k monthly sales targets.

If you're a proactive, ambitious sales professional ready to drive growth at Mirror Advisors and understand the value we deliver in software implementation, apply today!
