Job Description

You’ll be the first account manager and will work closely with the CEO on supporting our client’s existing base of customers. You’ll help onboard, retain, and expand their customers and help them maximize the value they get from the platform. The larger your book of business grows, the more opportunities you have to earn expansion and renewal revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the renewal cycle for a portfolio of clients. 
  • Monitor and track KPIs including renewals, upshift, and usage to maximize renewals and close expansion opportunities. 
  • Helps customers onboard, adopt, and use our product effectively.
  • Act as the main point of contact for escalations and support coordination.
  • Proactively engage with customers to discuss performance, usage, and contract status.
  • Monitor product usage data to conduct check-ins with customers ensuring satisfaction. 
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential churn risks before renewal periods.
  • Identify growth opportunities within accounts (expansions, upshifting, upgrades).
  • Catalog customer feedback to inform product roadmap decisions.

Qualifications

  • 2-4+ years of SaaS experience in roles such as account management, client success, sales, or similar. 
  • Proven ability to manage renewals and reduce churn.
  • Must have experience closing expansion opportunities.
  • Ability to spot upsell and growth opportunities. 
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven. 
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, perform well under pressure, meet deadlines, and work a flexible schedule.
  • An entrepreneurial and determined attitude with a massive drive to meet targets and the confidence to work independently without daily oversight.
  • Excited to work in a startup and have a track record of being adaptable to changing priorities in a fluid, high-growth environment.
