WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

FabStation is growing, and we are looking for an Account Manager to help build strong, long-term relationships with our clients in the steel fabrication industry. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with customers, understanding their needs, solving problems, and helping them get lasting value from a product. You will work closely with our Sales, Product, Onboarding, and Support teams to drive client adoption, retention, renewals, and account growth. As an Account Manager at FabStation, you will manage a portfolio of existing clients, maintain strong relationships, and identify opportunities to improve client success, retention, renewal, and expansion. You will be a key point of contact for clients after onboarding, helping ensure they are using FabStation effectively and seeing value from the platform.

WHERE ARE WE

We are located in Victoria, BC with our testing facility based in Kelowna, BC. This will be a remote working role; however, in-person collaboration will occasionally be required. 

The Account Manager will primarily manage accounts across the Eastern Time Zone and European time zones.

RESPONSBILITES

  • Manage and maintain relationships with assigned client accounts
  • Act as the main point of contact for client questions, concerns, renewals, and account updates
  • Monitor client usage, adoption, and overall account health
  • Identify at-risk accounts and create action plans to improve engagement
  • Schedule and lead regular client check-ins, renewal meetings, and quarterly business reviews
  • Work with clients to understand their goals, challenges, and workflows
  • Identify opportunities for upsells, additional devices, training, integrations, or expanded usage
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, Onboarding, and Support teams to resolve client issues
  • Track client activity, communication, and next steps in HubSpot
  • Support renewal conversations and help maintain strong retention rates
  • Gather client feedback and share insights internally to improve the product and customer experience
  • Obtain an expert-level understanding of our existing products and develop an understanding of our new products.
  • Travel to conferences, trade shows, and customers where required.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of experience in account management, customer success, or sales
  • 3+ years of experience managing renewals and expansion opportunities
  • Proven track record of hitting renewal targets and upsell quota
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable speaking with clients regularly over email, phone, and video calls
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and follow-ups at the same time
  • Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable learning and explaining software or technology products
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult client conversations professionally
  • Fluent English required; Fluent French required 
    • Manage 75% English speaking accounts, 25% French speaking
  • Experience with HubSpot an asset
  • Experience delivering client presentations, demos, or business reviews is an asset
  • Experience in construction, steel fabrication, manufacturing, SaaS, or technology is an asset

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Post-secondary education in a related area plus relevant training and experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Technology diploma; a solid technical background related to construction is an asset.
  • Intermediate computer skills; MS 365, HubSpot CRM.

  • Salary: OTE $100,000–$130,000 CAD, (includes base salary + commission)
