Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000 salary + Commission Eligible

  • LYNX MOSA.ic: A software platform that can include a LYNX safety-critical real-time operating system. MOSA.ic's modular design provides robust support for multicore processing. It allows different operating systems and applications of different criticality levels to be run on separate cores for improved performance, reliability, and security.
  • CoreSuite 2.0: A suite of graphics libraries and tools that enable GPU hardware acceleration for both graphics and "GPU Compute", supporting applications such as machine learning and AI processing in edge devices.
  • MOSA.ic.SCA and Vigiles, tools that provide Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) and Common Vulnerabilities Exposure (CVE) management for embedded Linux-based and other applications.
  • Software development services for high-reliability applications that can include initial setup of a "DevSecOps" development environment, software application development, and long-term product lifecycle management. 

Role Summary: 

Lynx is seeking a highly-motivated, high-energy, results-driven Account Manager for Commercial Linux Sales. This person will be responsible for managing an assigned set of customer accounts, following up/nurturing qualified leads, and prospecting in their territory. This person will support end-to-end account lifecycle management to promote effective sales engagement, ensure customer satisfaction, identify upsell opportunities, and provide regular feedback into marketing and engineering. This individual will be an enthusiastic team player with exceptional phone/email communication skills, able to understand different buying personas, position and communicate the value of Lynx Linux solutions, persuade prospects to engage, and build mutually productive long term relationships.


What you will be doing

       Assess and analyze a prospect’s current needs

       Provide engaging content and articulate value proposition for relevant Lynx Linux solutions

       Be extremely responsive to incoming customer and partner requests (phone, email, on-line chat, Teams meetings)

       Follow up with customers and leads, qualify new and upsell opportunities on both business and technical aspects, arrange meetings and deliver presentations and demonstrations, negotiate contracts, agreements, and Statements of Work, and close sales

       Drive and coordinate calls with leads to qualify accounts and understand their requirements, budget, timeframe, evaluation criteria, competition, and decision making process

       Arrange customer meetings with Lynx Linux engineering. Actively participate in the discussions and determine next steps and likelihood of successful engagement

       Work with Engineering and Marketing to understand Lynx Linux products, services, and sales processes

       Collaborate with Engineering to provide proposals, responses to RFIs/RFPs, budgetary estimates, Rough Order Magnitude (ROM) estimate of services, quotations and Statements of Work (SOW) to engineering champion, responsible manager, and sourcing/buyers

       Review customer MSAs / contracts, and interact with legal as necessary.

       Perform other account management functions as required to qualify and close identified business opportunities.

       Review monthly engineering reports and invoices, and assist with overdue AR

       Provide and maintain a pipeline of sales and business development opportunities

       Prospect, identify and develop key/strategic accounts based on interactions with existing customers, leads and prospects in relevant markets for Lynx Linux offerings

       Maintain up-to-date and accurate sales information and activity reports in Salesforce

       Develop and maintain relationships with in-territory Semiconductor, Board/SOM vendors, Distributors, and other Third Party Companies for prospecting, assisting in acquiring, supporting, and maintaining joint customers

       Support trade shows and conferences promoting and presenting Lynx Linux solutions

       Work with Engineering and Marketing to develop, review, and deliver content for webinars and other materials promoting Lynx Linux solutions

 

What We Need To See

  • Associate or Bachelor Degree, preferably in Business or Sciences, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to interact professionally with potential customers via phone, email, and telephone conferencing to discover their business needs and develop a positive business relationship
  • Social media (LinkedIn) prospecting skills including: researching companies, finding contacts, and crafting targeted emails
  • Excellent communication / writing skills
  • Well-organized, self-starter
  • Embraces multi-tasking, able to switch context easily
  • Conscientious, hard-working, and driven to improve sales and activity performance beyond targets

 

Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd

  • Experience with B2B sales, preferably in enterprise software solutions
  • Experience as an FAE or in customer support a plus
  • Diligent user of Salesforce.com / CRM
