Powered by our proprietary Dugout platform, Centerfield acquires customers at scale for leading residential service, insurance, e-commerce, and B2B brands. Centerfield’s digital experiences and digital brands, such as Business.com and BroadbandNow.com, reach more than 150 million in-market shoppers annually. Centerfield is headquartered in Silicon Beach and is proud to be recognized by Built in LA as a Best Place to Work in Los Angeles.

The Opportunity...
You will own and grow a book of ~100–125 insurance agents, helping them acquire in-market auto and home insurance customers through exclusive, consumer-initiated inbound calls. These consumers are connected in real time via warm transfers from our pre-qualification call center, sourced from high-quality online experiences, including AutoInsurance.com.

This is a revenue-forward role. Success requires a sales mindset and comfort operating around conversion rate, cost per call, and cost per policy (COA). You are responsible for driving measurable outcomes across your book.

How You’ll Contribute...

  • Own and grow a book of ~100–125 accounts at ~$5K/month in spend

  • Drive revenue through upsell, cross-sell, and new campaign creation

  • Build and manage portfolios of campaigns across targeting, filters, and pricing

  • Lead performance conversations using conversion rate, cost per call, and COA

  • Align bids and structure to achieve profitable customer acquisition

  • Identify underperformance and take action on pricing, targeting, and expectations

  • Partner with media and operations to improve call quality and volume

  • Maintain retention through consistent performance and value delivery

What We’re Looking For...

  • 4+ years in account management or sales, ideally in performance marketing, lead gen, or insurance

  • Comfortable owning a revenue number and managing a high-volume book

  • Strong grasp of conversion rate, CPA/COA, and ROI

  • Ability to turn data into clear actions and recommendations

  • Confident communicator on pricing, expectations, and results

  • Comfortable picking up the phone and leading conversations; not an email-only role

  • Experience managing multiple campaigns within an account

  • Proficient in Salesforce and Excel

  • Organized and accountable

How We Operate...
You should be comfortable discussing conversion to policy and COA with agencies. Our clients tend to realize ~18–30% conversion rates, so that’s generally where the conversation starts.

We connect in-market auto and home shoppers with the right agent and carrier, aligned to coverage and price. The model is built on continuous optimization across quality, routing, and pricing.

We take our relationships with carriers and agents seriously, with an emphasis on performance, transparency, and long-term growth.

Reality of the Role...

  • High-activity, performance-driven environment

  • Expected to drive growth, not maintain

  • Conversations focused on outcomes, not activity

  • Comfortable pushing on pricing, account setup, and setting realistic expectations so agents can realize their full potential within our marketplace

  • Career growth – we enjoy promoting from within!
