We are seeking a highly organized, client-focused, and results-driven Account Manager to own and lead a strategic program. This role is responsible for the overall success of a high-volume, high-visibility rewards platform, ensuring flawless execution, strong client partnership, and continued program growth. 

 

This Account Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for the client, owning all communication, expectations, and program performance. This individual will lead the coordination of internal teams, vendors, and fulfillment partners to ensure seamless execution across all aspects of the program. 

 

The role requires a balance of strategic oversight and operational involvement, ensuring that day-to-day execution is tightly managed while continuously identifying opportunities to improve performance and expand the program. 

 

This role is accountable for both the client experience and overall program outcomes, while partnering closely with a Program Coordinator who executes day-to-day operational activities. 

 

The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in fast-paced environments where precision, communication, and trust are critical to success.  

  

Essential Functions: 

 

Client Relationship Management 

Own the client relationship and serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring strong communication, trust, and alignment across all aspects of the program. 

  • Lead all client communication including regular calls, updates, and issue resolution
    • Establish and manage client expectations to ensure a successful partnership
    • Build strong relationships with key client stakeholders 
    • Act as a trusted advisor by proactively identifying needs and solutions 
    • Ensure a high level of client satisfaction through consistent, reliable execution 
    • Address and resolve issues quickly to maintain client confidence 

 

Client Request Ownership & Intake 

Own all inbound requests from client stakeholders, ensuring timely response, clear prioritization, and accurate execution from intake through handoff. 

  • Serve as the primary intake point for all ad-hoc client requests
    • Evaluate and prioritize incoming requests based on urgency, impact, and program alignment
    • Own development of quotes and proposals in response to client needs 
    • Communicate recommendations, pricing, and timelines clearly back to the client 
    • Oversee or execute accurate sales order creation to ensure alignment with approved scope 
    • Ensure clear and complete handoff to internal teams for execution once approved 
    • Maintain visibility into request status and follow through to completion 

 

Program Ownership & Execution 

Own overall program outcomes and ensure all operational components are executed accurately, on time, and aligned with client expectations. 

  • Maintain full ownership of program performance, outcomes, and client satisfaction
    • Provide oversight and direction across inventory planning, fulfillment operations, and vendor coordination
    • Ensure all program elements are executed with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail 
    • Monitor program activity and proactively address risks, gaps, or issues 
    • Step in as needed to support execution in high-risk or time-sensitive situations 
    • Ensure program timelines and deliverables are met consistently 

 

Inventory & Fulfillment Oversight 

Provide strategic oversight of inventory and fulfillment operations while ensuring execution is aligned with program needs and client expectations. 

  • Oversee inventory strategy to ensure merchandise is properly planned and aligned with demand
    • Monitor fulfillment partner performance, shipping accuracy, and service levels
    • Ensure appropriate inventory levels and replenishment timing in coordination with the Program Coordinator 
    • Escalate and resolve issues impacting fulfillment, inventory, or customer experience 
    • Provide direction on kitting and special projects to ensure alignment with program goals 
    • Ensure operational execution supports overall program success and client satisfaction 

 

Cross-Functional Leadership 

Lead coordination and provide direction across internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment and successful program execution. 

  • Act as the central point of accountability across internal teams, vendors, and fulfillment partners
    • Provide clear direction, prioritization, and decision-making to support teams
    • Ensure all stakeholders are aligned on program goals, timelines, and deliverables 
    • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy 
    • Drive accountability across teams to ensure work is completed accurately and on time 
    • Support the development and documentation of program processes and workflows 

 

Program Growth & Optimization 

Identify opportunities to improve and expand the program while maintaining strong operational performance. 

  • Analyze program performance and identify opportunities for improvement
    • Recommend enhancements to inventory strategy, product assortment, or program structure
    • Identify opportunities to expand program scope or increase engagement 
    • Support sourcing and introduction of new products or solutions aligned with client needs 
    • Continuously look for ways to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and enhance the client experience 

 

Reporting & Performance Management 

Provide visibility into program performance through reporting, analysis, and communication. 

  • Deliver regular reporting on program performance, inventory, and fulfillment activity
    • Analyze trends to inform decision-making and recommendations
    • Maintain accurate program documentation and reporting tools 
    • Communicate insights and updates to both internal leadership and client stakeholders  

 

 

Job Specifications: 

  • Strong client relationship management and communication skills
    • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
    • Ability to manage complex, high-volume programs with multiple moving parts 
    • Strong organizational and project management skills 
    • Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on execution 
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to act quickly in high-pressure situations 
    • Ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams 
    • Experience managing client requests from intake through execution (quoting, proposals, order creation) 
    • Ability to prioritize and manage high volumes of inbound requests in a fast-paced environment 
    • Strong sense of ownership and accountability for both client experience and operational outcomes 

 

Preferred Experience: 

  • Experience in promotional products, branded merchandise, or a related industry
    • Experience managing client-facing programs or accounts
    • Experience with inventory planning, fulfillment operations, or ecommerce programs 
    • Experience working with reporting tools and operational data analysis 

 

Other Specifications: 

  • Position may be remote with preference given to candidates within driving distance of Boundless locations
    • Some travel may berequired based on program needs
