As Accountant, you are the engine that keeps our financial operations moving flawlessly. By partnering directly with the Controller to master the month-end close and protect the integrity of our general ledger, your work provides the baseline truth for our business decisions. You will transform everyday numbers, vendor interactions, and compliance tasks into a clear, trustworthy financial narrative that empowers our entire team to scale with confidence.


Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a high-growth or startup environment

  • Solid understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles

  • Experience with payroll processing and accounts payable workflows

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet recurring deadlines

  • CPA candidate or bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred"


What you’ll do:

  • Work in close partnership with the Controller to strengthen the month-end processes

  • Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments to support timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes

  • Reconcile general ledger accounts, proactively identify discrepancies, and ensure integrity of financial reporting

  • Support regulatory reporting requirements including surveys, franchise taxes, and annual reports, ensuring compliance with applicable deadlines

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee and vendor inquiries, partnering with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently

  • Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects to inform business decisions and improve operational efficiency

  • Review, code, and process vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and corporate card transactions in accordance with company policy and accounting standards

  • Maintain and update vendor records, accounts payable inbox, and the Company Finance calendar, ensuring timely tracking of key reporting and compliance deadlines
