Accounting Professional with Sage Intacct Experience
About the Role
8020 Consulting is looking for Accounting Professionals with advanced Sage Intacct expertise or hands-on implementation experience to lead accounting and system initiatives for fast-growing and established companies.
In this role, you’ll combine deep accounting knowledge with technical insight to drive process improvements, optimize Sage Intacct systems, and provide strategic guidance to clients. Whether you’re an advanced power user or an implementation specialist, you’ll play a key role in shaping accounting operations across multiple organizations.
Engagements are tailored to align with your strengths while supporting continuous development.
Examples of recent Accounting Manager/Director-level engagements include:
- Lead Sage Intacct implementations, optimizations, and advanced configurations
- Oversee month-end close, financial reporting, and multi-entity consolidations
- Advise clients on accounting operations, controls, and best practices
- Configure workflows, charts of accounts, and system integrations to support client needs
- Mentor teams of consultants and accountants to ensure high-quality project delivery
- Translate complex accounting requirements into actionable system solutions
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles
- Advanced Sage Intacct user OR hands-on implementation experience (required)
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, and complex accounting operations
- Experience managing month-end close, reconciliations, and system-based processes
- Consulting or client-facing experience preferred
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
