DLC PROJECTS
As an Accounting & Finance Consultant, you may contribute across several types of engagements depending on client needs, your experience & project scope.
Financial Accounting & Reporting
Manage full-cycle accounting processes
Improve and optimize the month-end close
Prepare consolidated financial statements and reporting packages
Support SEC filings, including 10-K, 10-Q, S-1, S-3 & S-4
Analyze & implement new FASB pronouncements
Support audits & post-merger integration efforts
Develop & document internal controls, policies & procedures
Financial Planning & Analysis
Develop annual operating plans, forecasts, & long-range plans
Build & maintain financial models & decision-support tools
Analyze pricing, profitability, capital expenditures & strategic investments
Support acquisition & divestiture analysis
Evaluate marketing ROI, benchmarking results & cost allocation approaches
Support R&D budgeting & complex forecasting needs
Financial Systems & Process Improvement
Lead or support financial systems implementations & upgrades
Define business requirements & assist with software selection
Partner across Finance and IT
Design charts of accounts
Create & execute testing plans
Build reports using ERP & reporting tools
Identify process improvement opportunities & support implementation
Provide post-launch support & troubleshooting
Process Documentation & Redesign
Document current-state processes through narratives & flowcharts
Recommend & implement best practices
Redesign workflows to align with system & business needs
Strengthen compliance & operational efficiency
Interim Financial Management
Step into interim finance leadership roles during periods of growth, change, or transition
Support organizations through reorganizations, mergers, acquisitions & relocations
Clarify team roles & responsibilities
Improve workflows & identify productivity opportunities
Develop position descriptions & train incoming staff
Project Management
Define project scope, objectives, timelines & deliverables
Coordinate cross-functional teams & stakeholders
Build communication & project plans
Identify & manage project risks
Help ensure projects are delivered on time & on budget
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related area
Holds an MBA and/or CPA or in process preferred
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS, public accounting experience strongly preferred
5+ years of demonstrated success inside a Fortune 1000 company required
Experience in accounting, finance, FP&A, reporting, audit, systems, or transformation
The ability to adapt quickly across different clients, industries & business needs
Strong analytical, project management & communication skills
A collaborative approach & confidence working with senior stakeholders
A desire to take on meaningful, high-visibility work in a consulting environment

Compensation for this position ranges from $110,000 - $155,000 and will vary depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. The compensation may also include incentive compensation in the form of discretionary bonuses.
