About The Role

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining our financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, supporting payroll and procurement processes, and assisting with various audits. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will take ownership of core accounting workstreams and contribute to the ongoing development of our finance practices as the company scales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Month-End Close: Support the monthly financial close process by preparing journal entries, completing account reconciliations, and ensuring all close tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.

  • Audit Support: Support annual financial audits, tax filings, and various other audits (e.g., financial, tax, workers comp) by preparing schedules, gathering documentation, and responding to auditor requests.

  • Full-Cycle Accounting: Execute day-to-day accounting operations across accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing (A/R & subscriptions), general ledger, and payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows, documentation, and controls, and partner with the Accounting Manager to implement changes that increase efficiency and accuracy.

  • Collaboration: Work alongside Sales, Customer Experience, RevOps, and other departments to support effective processes and resolve accounting-related inquiries.

  • Ad-Hoc Projects: Assist with special projects and ad-hoc reporting as needed to drive revenue and cost efficiencies.

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of professional accounting experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.

  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to data accuracy.

  • Effective operator in fast‑paced, startup‑style environments: Comfortable with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and limited resources; proactively builds or improves processes, documentation, and controls while balancing speed and rigor.

  • Based in SF and willing to be in office 5 days a week
