Role Overview:
Could you be our next Accounts Payable Input Specialist? Globe Life is looking for an Accounts Payable Input Specialist to join the team!
This role is responsible for accurately processing vendor invoices and supporting day-to-day accounts payable operations, including timely data entry, invoice verification, and compliance, while maintaining organized AP records in Workday and positive relationships with vendors and internal departments.
This is a hybrid position located in McKinney, Texas (WFH Monday & Friday, In Office Tuesday-Thursday).
What You Will Do:
- Process and enter high volumes of vendor invoices into Workday ERP daily, verifying details such as pricing, quantities, PO matching, and GL coding.
- Scan and attach supporting documentation to invoice records.
- Ensure invoice compliance by verifying approvals, performing 3-way matching, and flagging discrepancies or missing information.
- Serve as a point of contact for vendors and internal departments, resolving invoice questions and maintaining professional relationships.
- Support month-end close, generate Workday reports, and assist with special projects as needed.
What You Can Bring:
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of progressive accounts payable experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- 2+ years of accounts payable experience, with at least 1 year using Workday ERPExceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong data entry skills with high typing speed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Basic math and calculation skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
