Martello Re Services Company LLC is seeking an Actuary to support implementation and enhancement of earnings attribution and roll-forwards to explain US GAAP results used for management reporting and decision making. Collaborate with Data Analytics to develop and review experience studies, development and documentation of assumptions. Support automation, streamlining and production of monthly/quarterly processes in Actuarial, and across the enterprise as needed. Support design, automation, and production of business analytics for liability and investments data. #LI-DNI


Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Computer Science or a related field, and 4 years of actuarial experience in the life insurance and annuities industry. Experience must include at minimum: 4 years of experience with financial reporting under US GAAP; 4 years of experience with programming languages R, Python, SQL; 1 year of experience with payout annuities and fixed deferred annuities; and 1 year of experience with actuarial experience studies, actuarial assumption setting, assumption governance and assumption documentation. Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) designation is required. Quarterly domestic travel required. Telecommuting/remote work is available within the United States.
