The Administrative Assistant will support the day to day office operations that keep these services organized and running smoothly. This position will serve as an important point of contact for customers while assisting with service requests, scheduling, customer records, billing related administrative tasks, communication with field personnel, and general office coordination. The role requires someone who is organized, dependable, professional, comfortable using computers and phones, and able to manage changing priorities in a service focused environment. The Administrative Assistant will work closely with management and operations staff to help coordinate commercial pickups, extra service requests, roll off container activity, customer questions, and other administrative needs.

Responsibilities
• Answer customer calls and respond to customer questions in a professional and helpful manner

• Process and follow up on service requests, extra pickup requests, and other customer needs

• Assist with scheduling commercial waste collection, roll off services, and related service activities

• Maintain accurate customer information, service records, documents, and administrative files

• Communicate service updates and customer requests to management and field operations personnel

• Assist with billing support, payment related administrative tasks, and account follow up as needed

• Prepare and organize quotes, correspondence, reports, and other routine office documents

• Support daily office coordination and help ensure customers receive timely and reliable service


Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous administrative, office, customer service, dispatch, or scheduling experience preferred

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Professional verbal and written communication skills

• Comfortable answering phones and communicating with customers, vendors, and internal team members

• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn company software and online systems

• Ability to manage multiple requests, prioritize tasks, and remain organized in a busy service environment

• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with management and field operations staff

• Dependable attendance and a professional approach to customer service

• Ability to work on site in Huntsville, Alabama during the company's regular office hours
