POSITION SUMMARY:
Blue Acorn iCi is looking for an Adobe Commerce Technical Architect to join our delivery team. This person will be responsible for providing technical project oversight and thought leadership to cross-functional business and engineering teams it relates to Magento/Adobe Commerce solutions.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities  

  • Technical ownership and authority of the assigned client projects
  • Enforce best practices for development on Adobe Commerce (Magento) platform
  • Architect and design Adobe Commerce (Magento) solutions and integrations based on client requirements
  • Ensure the solution that is delivered is consistent with company development policies and standards.
  • Perform quality review of work products (post facto) 
  • Peer programming when needed
  • Participate in project discoveries to provide technical support and to ensure that we understand client requests from an engineering perspective
  • Technical escalation point for the project team and clients assisted by the Technical Lead
  • Support the project team through key project events (e.g planning sessions, release demos, UAT sessions, site launch)
  • Provide highly efficient development effort when necessary
  • Work with technical leads, and sr. software engineers to provide technical approaches for the overall goals of the project
  • Work with the Digital Solutions Consultant and Project Manager regarding development impacts to scope, budget, timeline, quality, and resource utilization.
  • Provide technical consultation to the client to help them make decisions based on technical experience
  • Assist with Pull Requests, Code Reviews, and Deployments in support of the Adobe Commerce (Magento) platform
  • Provide expertise and recommendations on the impact of UI/UX recommendations on the frontend of the Adobe Commerce (Magento) platform
  • Provide expertise and recommendations on the impact of integrations and data on the frontend and backend of the Adobe Commerce (Magento) platform
  • Provide assistance for onboarding, training and knowledge sharing of new project contributors
  • Communication with prospective clients regarding our process, potential architecture for business solutions for the proposed engagement
  • Support sales staff with training and demos for Adobe Commerce (Magento) platform solutions
  • Estimate the level of effort for potential deliverables

Qualifications

  • Adobe Commerce certifications - Adobe Certified Expert
  • 5+ years of experience Adobe Commerce development
  • 3+ years of experience working on Adobe Commerce enterprise solutions
  • Ability to learn new skills quickly
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Expert knowledge of engineering and platform technologies, concepts, procedures, and practices. 
  • Leadership skills. Creativity. Judgment. Analytic skills
  • Excitement to coach and mentor engineers at all levels of the department

The base salary range for this position is $140,000 – $195,000 annually. Actual compensation may vary depending on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.
