Job Title: AEM Architect

Duties

  • Lead the end-to-end migration strategy from AEM 6.5 to AEMaaCS, including discovery, assessment, planning, execution, and post-migration support.
  • Analyze existing AEM 6.5 implementations to identify deprecated features, code incompatibilities, and non-cloud-friendly customizations.
  • Architect custom components, workflows, services, and integrations to be cloud-native and compliant with AEMaaCS requirements.
  • Oversee content migration using Adobe’s Content Transfer Tool (CTT), ensuring clean data transfers, validation runs, and minimal disruption.
  • Redesign and optimize dispatcher configurations for AEMaaCS, including caching, filtering, security headers, and performance rules.
  • Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines using Adobe Cloud Manager, incorporating automated testing, quality gates, and deployment workflows.
  • Modernize legacy integrations (Salesforce, TrustArc, Bazaar Voice, etc.) using event-driven or API-based patterns suitable for a cloud environment.
  • Collaborate with Adobe Customer Success Engineers, DevOps, and business stakeholders to align migration goals with business needs.
  • Conduct training and enablement sessions for development teams on cloud-first AEM architecture, CI/CD practices, and dispatcher refactoring.
  • Provide post-migration support including performance tuning, UAT, incident resolution, and production cutover activities.
  • Develop Technical Architecture and technical design documents to support the requirements of the project

Requirement: Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related fields, plus five years of experience in a related occupation. Travel/relocation required as jobs will be performed at various unanticipated locations throughout the United States.
Compensation, Benefits and Duration

Minimum Compensation: USD 72,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 252,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
Medical, vision, and dental benefits, 401k retirement plan, variable pay/incentives, paid time off, and paid holidays are available for full time employees.
This position is not available for independent contractors
