Job Summary
We are seeking a versatile and experienced professional to fill the combined role of Business Analyst, Project Manager, and Scrum Master for our Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) initiatives. This individual will be instrumental in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, driving the successful delivery of AEM projects, and fostering agile practices within our development teams. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the AEM ecosystem and content-driven websites, exceptional communication and leadership skills, and a proven track record in digital project delivery. A deep understanding of front-end development, UX design principles (including tools like Figma), responsive design, SEO best practices, and familiarity with marketing technology applications are crucial for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Strategy
  • Elicit, analyze, document, and validate comprehensive business and functional requirements for AEM implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Translate complex business objectives into clear, concise, and actionable technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for AEM development teams.
  • Conduct workshops, interviews, and various elicitation techniques with diverse stakeholders to capture detailed requirements and understand user needs for content-driven web experiences.
  • Perform thorough gap analysis between current-state processes and desired AEM functionalities, identifying strategic opportunities for improvement within the AEM ecosystem, always considering the impact on front-end, UX, and marketing objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to ensure business requirements are accurately reflected in design, user experience, and AEM component functionality for content-driven sites, with a strong understanding of designs from tools like Figma.
Project Management & Delivery
  • Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful closure of AEM projects from inception to deployment.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies for AEM initiatives.
  • Proactively identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing effective resolution strategies to ensure project success and minimize impact.
  • Manage communication and expectations with all project stakeholders, including business sponsors, technical teams, vendors, and external partners.
  • Ensure adherence to established project management methodologies, quality standards, and organizational governance frameworks.
  • Serve as a dedicated servant-leader for one or more AEM development teams, facilitating all Scrum ceremonies (e.g., daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives).
  • Coach and mentor the development team and Product Owner on Agile principles, values, and practices, promoting continuous improvement, self-organization, and accountability.
  • Actively identify and remove impediments or obstacles that hinder team progress, escalating appropriately when necessary to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Protect the development team from external distractions and interferences, enabling them to focus exclusively on achieving sprint goals for AEM and content-driven projects.
  • Promote effective collaboration and transparent communication within the team and with all relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • Help the team achieve and maintain a high level of performance, quality, and predictability through consistent process refinement and feedback loops.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Solid experience (typically 5+ years) functioning in a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or Scrum Master capacity, with significant exposure to digital projects.
  • Demonstrated experience (at least 2-3 years) specifically within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) projects, coupled with a strong understanding of the AEM ecosystem and content-driven websites, including its capabilities, components, templates, and content management features.
  • Must have a very good understanding of front-end development, UX designs (Figma or equivalent), and Content Management Systems (CMS) capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design principles and their implementation.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and their application to website development and content.
  • Familiarity with marketing technology applications and how they integrate with AEM.
  • Proficiency in various requirements gathering techniques, documentation, and the creation of user stories, use cases, and process flows.
  • Proven expertise in managing complex projects utilizing Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and familiarity with Waterfall approaches where appropriate.
  • Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or Workfront.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences and translate business needs for technical teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Experience in stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Fundamental understanding of the web development lifecycle, front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and system integration concepts.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing requirements, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related technical or business field.
  • Relevant industry certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) are highly desirable.
  • Prior experience in a client-facing role or working with diverse global teams is a plus.
