Position Summary:
DT Professional Services is seeking an AEM Forms Developer / DHS Trusted Tester to join our remote team. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Forms while ensuring digital products meet Section 508 and WCAG accessibility standards. The ideal candidate combines hands-on AEM development experience with expertise in accessibility testing to deliver compliant, user-friendly solutions for federal customers.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and migrate Adaptive and XFA PDF Forms using AEM Forms. 
  • Create custom AEM components, workflows, Form Data Models, and integrations with backend systems.
  • Develop and maintain AEM Sites components, CSS, and customer branding.
  • Using the DHS Trusted Tester methodology evaluate developed digital products for compliance with Section 508 and WCAG 2.2 Level AA standards.
  • Using the DHS Trusted Tester methodology perform manual/automated 508 Compliance accessibility testing and also provide mitigation development on the following:
    • XFA PDF/Acrobat PDF.
    • AEM Sites.
    • Other digital file formats as required.
  • Document findings, prepare ACRs and VPATs., verify remediation efforts.
  • Create development best practice/standards documentation to eliminate remediation efforts.
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver accessible digital solutions.
  • Participate in Agile development, testing, and deployment activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance, with eligibility and willingness to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • DHS Trusted Tester Certification (or ability to obtain).
  • 3+ years of AEM Forms (6.4+) development experience.
  • Experience with Adaptive Forms, XFA PDF Forms, Adobe Acrobat PDF, OSGi, AEM Sites, Form Data Models, Forms Portal, XML and JSON Schemas, CSS, CRX, and custom components.
  • Experience integrating AEM Forms with databases and backend systems.
  • 3+ years of JavaScript development experience.
  • Experience with Git and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of Section 508, WCAG 2.2 AA, accessibility testing, VPATs/ACRs, and accessibility testing tools (NVDA, Axe, WAVE, ANDI, Accessibility Insights, etc.).
  • Experience using browser developer tools and Jira or similar issue tracking platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Active Secret clearance highly preferred.
  • Experience with AEM JEE, Workbench, AdminUI, Adobe Sign, and JEE/OSGi administration.
  • Experience in Agile, DevSecOps, or CI/CD environments.
  • Experience remediating accessible PDFs and Microsoft Office documents.
  • IAAP, CPACC, WAS, CPWA, Scrum Master, or similar certifications.
  • Familiarity with federal ICT accessibility policies and standards.

The compensation for this position: $120,000.00 - 128,000.00 Annually
**The range listed represents the company’s good-faith estimate of base compensation for this position at the time of posting. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for the role and may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for other forms of compensation, including incentive-based bonuses or commissions, as applicable.
