About AirOps

AirOps is the full-service platform for brand growth in the age of AI search. As consumers shift from traditional search engines to platforms like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini, the entire ruleset of growth is being rewritten. Buyers now rely on agents to discover, recommend, and purchase products and services for them. If your brand isn't part of the answer, you aren't in the running.

Our platform offers everything a brand needs to get found, recommended, and earn trust. We work with category leaders, including teams at Ramp, Chime, Airbnb, ServiceNow, and Rippling, to drive visibility and accelerate growth from AI search.

Backed by Greylock, Unusual Ventures, Wing VC, and Founder Collective, we're headquartered in San Francisco, New York, and Montevideo.

About the role

You'll be the person our AEO and engagement management teams turn to when a project needs to get built, not just planned. Think keyword research, prompt mapping, prompt audits, and competitive audits: projects that need real hours and focus. You won't run client calls. You'll make the work behind those calls faster and more scalable for the people who do. This is a build-first role for someone who wants to grow AEO and SEO from the inside, working next to senior practitioners.

What you'll own
  • Build repeatable SEO/AEO project frameworks (keyword research, prompt mapping, content gap analysis) that the AEO and engagement teams can run at scale across accounts

  • Take on ad hoc, time-consuming research and execution requests from the AEO team, and turn them into standard workflows instead of one-off asks

  • Maintain the playbooks and templates that let senior AEO staff spend their time on client strategy, not manual execution

  • Deliver behind-the-scenes fulfillment work fast and accurately, so client-facing teams can move without waiting on you

  • Spot patterns across projects that could become new repeatable processes, templates, or tools

What you'll bring
  • Hands-on experience with keyword research, heat mapping, or similar SEO/content research work, from an agency or in-house team.

  • A builder mindset: you'd rather turn a messy one-off request into a repeatable process than redo it manually every time

  • Comfort working independently on detail-heavy projects without needing constant direction

  • Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals and real curiosity about AEO and how AI answer engines surface and cite content

  • Strong organizational instincts: you can juggle requests from multiple senior teammates without dropping details

Nice to haves
  • Experience with AirOps or similar SEO/content tooling

  • Prior exposure to AEO, LLM citation tracking, or answer engine research

  • Interest in growing into a client-facing AEO role over time

Our Guiding Principles
  1. Extreme Ownership

  2. Quality

  3. Curiosity and Play

  4. Make Our Customers Heroes

  5. Respectful Candor

Benefits
  • Equity in a fast-growing startup

  • Competitive benefits package tailored to your location

  • Flexible time off policy

  • Parental Leave

  • A fun-loving and (just a bit) nerdy team that loves to move fast!
