About ScholarshipOwl

ScholarshipOwl is the largest scholarship marketplace in the U.S., connecting over 14 million Gen Z students with private scholarships and the brands that power them. Our mission is to make education financing more accessible and engaging, while giving brands a way to connect with the next generation.

We’re powered by AI technology that simplifies scholarship discovery, streamlines the application process, and delivers measurable results for both students and partners. Whether it’s helping students secure funding or enabling brands to run impactful campaigns, we’re reshaping how education is funded and discovered.

The Role

We are looking for a proactive, results-oriented Affiliate Manager to take ownership of our user acquisition through strategic partnerships. This is a high-impact role for a "hunter" who thrives on discovering new traffic sources and optimizing them for maximum ROI.

You will be responsible for the entire partner lifecycle—from relentless prospecting and outreach to daily performance analysis and relationship scaling. If you’re fueled by the hunt of cold outreach and live for the win of a rising performance curve, you’ll thrive in this high-impact role.

What You’ll Do
  • Prospecting: Conduct daily scouting and outreach to recruit new traffic partners using a mix of manual communication and automated tools.

  • Optimize Acquisition: Improve user acquisition by identifying partners that align with our audience and deliver measurable growth.

  • Data-Driven Triage: Perform daily reviews of partner performance metrics to identify when to scale winning campaigns and when to cut underperforming sources.

  • Nurture & Scale: Maintain high-touch engagement with partners through regular check-ins to assess performance, negotiate contracts, and pitch new collaboration opportunities.

  • Drive Profitability: Take ownership of hitting key milestones, including establishing at least one new traffic source that generates $1,000 in monthly profit within your first 90 days.

  • Leverage AI: Utilize AI-driven discovery tools (such as Clay) to streamline the partner identification process.

What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves:

  • 2+ Years of Experience: Specifically in affiliate management, with a proven track record of finding and bringing in new traffic partners. (Note: Experience exclusively in influencer management is not a fit for this role).

  • Platform Mastery: Hands-on experience with major affiliate tracking tools or networks such as Tune, Awin, Impact, or Affise.

  • "Hunter" Mentality: You don't wait for inbound leads; you are proactive, motivated by growing numbers, and passionate about traffic optimization.

  • Analytical Mindset: Comfortable working with spreadsheets to monitor data and comfortable articulating past campaign mechanics and successes clearly.

  • Communication Excellence: You must be a clear, fluent English communicator who is highly presentable for partner calls.

  • Bonus Points: Experience with CRM/Outreach tools, Familiarity with AI tools for discovery and prospecting (e.g., Clay).

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Team Leadership: Previous experience managing a team.

  • Influencer Strategy: Supplemental experience running influencer campaigns alongside traditional affiliate traffic.

  • Modern Tooling: Experience with AI tools for discovery (e.g., Clay) or CRM/Outreach tools.

  • Contractual Knowledge: Experience negotiating partner contracts.

Why Join ScholarshipOwl?
  • Mission-Driven Work – Build technology that helps students unlock education opportunities.

  • Fully Remote – Work from anywhere while collaborating with a global team.

  • High Impact & Ownership – You aren’t just a cog in the machine; you are a primary driver of our traffic growth.

  • Unlimited PTO – We value results over hours worked and trust you to manage your time.

  • Coworking Budget – $200/month to invest in your ideal coworking workspace.

  • Continuous Learning Culture – We support curiosity, experimentation, and growth.

  • Annual Company Off-sites – Connect with your teammates in person at various locations around the globe.
