Job Description

Provide a responsive, pro-active, and proficient personal relationship banking service to a portfolio of Affluent customers in order to grow market share and retain existing business.

  • Establish and build one-on-one relationship in the assigned portfolio by delivering the seamless expected level of service, specifically focusing on a proactive contact or calling strategy and program.  
  • Ensure retention of existing clients in the assigned portfolio by strengthening and expanding relationships. Ensures effective query management and customer feedback.                                  
  • Monitors and manages (in collaboration with internal business partners) the delivery of service in line with service level agreements, standards and turnaround times within segment.
  • Ensures the implementation of the Personal Segment value proposition.Interact and build strong relationships with relevant stakeholders and business partners (e.g Credit, BCC, Wholesale etc.) in order to provide a seamless solution to the clients banking requirement          
  • Acquire and retain quality business in line with the Customer Value Proposition, segment income specifications, acquisition targets and segment strategy to increase market share.            
  • Ensures deep understanding of Customer’s demographics through regular interaction with client. 
  • Ensure value add to customers while growing the bank profitability through financial advisory to clients, cross-selling with a focus on wealth creation and lending opportunities.                                                     

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Studies or a related field from a recognized university 
  • Atleast 5 years experience as a Business Banker or Relationship Manager with proven performance record
  • Exposure to customer service required with previous sales experience
  • Experience in dealing with customers at all levels. Significant product knowledge including specialised products and financial structures.
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, cost control and client financial analysis.
  • Experience in preparing and motivating Credit applications is essential.Exposure to customer service required. Previous sales experience
  • Good knowledge of Affluent Banking value proposition
  • Sound knowledge of the bank's policies and procedures relating to all areas under his/her control
