The AI Solution Architect designs scalable, secure, and effective AI solutions that align with client requirements, business objectives, and regulatory expectations. This role leads solution architecture activities across AI initiatives, translates business needs into technical designs, and works closely with engineering, governance, and project leadership teams to guide implementation success.
Essential Functions and Primary Duties
Design end-to-end AI solution architectures, including data, model, application, integration, and security considerations.
Provide expert technical leadership across AI initiatives to ensure architectural integrity, scalability, and supportability.
Evaluate tools, platforms, and patterns to recommend effective and compliant AI solution approaches.
Lead and coordinate the technical activities of others, ensuring alignment between architecture, implementation, and operational requirements.
Document architecture decisions, standards, policies, and procedures to support consistency and governance.
Partner with stakeholders to translate business and regulatory requirements into actionable technical solutions.
Support deployment planning, troubleshooting, and ongoing improvement of AI solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, data science, or a related field.
Experience designing AI, machine learning, generative AI, or intelligent automation solutions in enterprise environments.
Knowledge of cloud platforms, data architecture, APIs, integration patterns, and secure solution design.
Experience establishing architecture standards, reference patterns, and technical governance practices.
Familiarity with responsible AI, model risk, privacy, and regulatory compliance considerations.
Relevant architecture or cloud certifications preferred.
Minimum Qualifications
- College Degree or equivalent required
- 8 years related experience
- Expert technical knowledge
- Knowledge of industry regulations
- Ability to lead and coordinate the team activities of others
- Ability to formulate, document and recommend new policies and procedures
- Able to work in and lead a team
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of an organization, both internally and externally
- Ability to travel as required by business and on-call availability
