The AI Specialist, Executive Operations will report to the Chief of Staff and join the Executive Operations team, serving as a trusted advisor to CA’s senior leadership. This role is responsible for elevating executive productivity, decision quality, and strategic impact by coaching leaders on the effective use of generative AI tools and embedding AI enabled workflows into executive operations.‑enabled workflows into executive operations.
This is not a software engineering, product development, enterprise architecture or system implementation role. Instead, it blends AI fluency, familiarity with how AI tools translate into high impact leader workflows, change management, and operational rigor to ensure leaders can thoughtfully apply AI in ways aligned to their functional priorities, CA’s mission, and responsible‑use standards.

The Impact You’ll Have:
Executive AI Enablement & Coaching
Act as a trusted coach and thought partner to executives and their leadership teams on the practical use of generative AI tools in daily work.
Collaborate with leaders to map real tasks (e.g., “prep for a leadership meeting”) into a multi‑step AI workflow, with clear inputs, AI-tools and prompts, and human review points.
Deliver one‑on‑one and small‑group coaching sessions focused on real executive scenarios such as strategic planning, synthesis of complex information, communication drafting, prioritization, and decision preparation.
Help leaders assess which AI knowledge and tools are most relevant to their specific functional context from a usage and workflow perspective (e.g., Finance, Product, People & Culture, Sales, Marketing, Strategy, Service).
Training, Playbooks & Learning Design
Design and deliver engaging, executive‑level training sessions and workshops (e.g., prompt design for leaders, AI‑assisted strategy development, integrating AI into executive workflows).
Develop clear playbooks, templates, and examples that model best practices for responsible, effective AI use by leaders.
Build confidence and fluency so executives can independently and appropriately use AI tools.
Operational Strategy & AI Enablement
Partner with Exec Ops and functional leaders to identify where AI can support existing priorities, workflows, and decision-making processes.
Support leaders in evaluating ideas surfaced by teams, helping them ask better questions about value, readiness, AI tooling, and responsible use.
Partners closely with IT Business Partners when a new solution need arises or when any enhancement, integration, security review, data consideration, or enterprise platform impact is identified, ensuring formal intake, evaluation, and prioritization occurs through established IT governance processes.
Reinforce disciplined thinking around when AI is helpful versus when it is not, keeping focus on executive effectiveness and organizational clarity
Change Management, Governance & Responsible Use
Bring fresh perspective that at times may challenge status quo thinking on existing processes and offer AI-forward insights to shape our work
Champion a culture of experimentation, learning, and transparency while reinforcing trust and accountability.
Work closely with Legal, Compliance, IT, and People & Culture to reinforce responsible AI‑use guidelines, data privacy standards, and ethical considerations.
Advise executives on risks, limitations, and appropriate boundaries when using generative AI.
Trend Translation & Executive Insight
Stay current on emerging generative AI capabilities, enterprise tools, and industry guidance.
Translate trends into concise, business‑focused insights that help leaders understand relevance, implications, and timing.
Serve as a bridge between technical experts and executive decision‑makers for the purpose of executive understanding and decision quality.
Who You Are
Experience & Expertise
3+ years of practical experience, hands‑on exposure to generative AI in a business context (whether through internships or full-time experience).
Familiarity with enterprise GenAI tools and related platforms (e.g., ChatGPT‑style models, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Perplexity or similar) acquired through internships or projects that used AI tools heavily in real work.
Some exposure leading or supporting AI adoption efforts, pilots, or enablement programs a plus, but not required.
Executive Presence & Operational Acumen
Demonstrated ability to work credibly with senior leaders and explain technical concepts in clear, actionable, non‑technical language.
Comfort leading small workshops and interactive sessions.
An understanding or ability to learn quickly workflows of executives and enterprise operations broadly.
Ability to connect AI capabilities to business outcomes, decision quality, and operational efficiency.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to partner across functions and disciplines.
Education
Bachelor’s degree required. MBA strongly preferred.
Certifications in AI-related, leadership development, or change management are a plus, but not required.
Technical Background Expectations
You do not need a formal technical background in computer science, data science, machine learning, or deep digital transformation roles.
You do bring a strong passion for AI and demonstrated competence or familiarity with enterprise AI tools and platforms.
You are comfortable learning new tools quickly, understanding capabilities and limitations at a practical level, and guiding executives on how to apply AI effectively without needing to build or engineer solutions yourself.

Benefits and Pay Range:
Pay Range – This role’s range is $69,250 - $118,250. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that Curriculum Associates considers in making compensation decisions based on our Compensation Philosophy. Actual base pay within that range will vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, prior experience and relevant skill sets. At Curriculum Associates, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances for each case. This role is also eligible to participate in the company bonus plan. The Company recognizes that minimum wage varies by location and will ensure all compensation decisions comply with applicable state and local laws.
