About the Role

Mannix Marketing is looking for an AI Specialist contractor to support our internal teams as we expand our use of AI across the agency. This is a practical, hands-on role, not a consulting or advisory position. You will work directly with internal teams to build, maintain, and improve AI workflows and tooling that our team actually uses day-to-day.

What You’ll Do

  • Building and maintaining internal AI workflows, tools, integration's, and client-specific projects

  • Documentation and knowledge transfer of new workflows, including training team members

  • Supporting teams in adopting and using AI tools effectively

  • Working with platforms such as Claude, Claude Code, Gemini, Zapier, N8N, Asana, Slack, and custom-built solutions

  • Identifying and implementing practical improvements to how we use AI internally

  • Staying current on relevant AI news and tools and offering them forward

What We’re Looking For
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with large language models and AI tools in a professional setting

  • Comfort with prompt engineering, API usage, and workflow automation

  • Experience working within a team environment, ideally in a digital marketing or web development context

  • Strong written communication skills -- this is a fully remote role, and async clarity matters

  • Ability to work independently, manage your own time, and communicate proactively

  • Familiarity with Claude, Gemini, or comparable platforms; custom build experience a plus

  • AI philosophy - AI is a tool to assist people, not replace them; all workflows will contain a human-in-the-loop element.

Logistics
  • Contract, part-time

  • Fully remote
  • Rate: $55 - $70 per hour
